The next question there is who is the "right" entity to stop it at all, and next who can be persuaded to turn off the money tap in a proxy war? Too many on both sides profiteering from someone elses suffering and conflict.

It's not like it was a particularly popular move in Russia either. Ideally, local support for conflict will falter on all sides, on both sides of the conflict and third party supporters. But that doesn't mean the "goodies" have won, if at all there was such a side to begin with.

From my perspective the question should be how to change things to make the future work, together. By initially forgiving eachother how we got here for a time, to implement the changes, and then only remembering it to avoid conflict again, and implementing more change as a remedy. Reiterative peace process.

You can't change history, if history is true or not, justified or not. You can only choose today to change the outcome of the future.

But people can only adopt change over time, some take longer, some shorter, so you need to allow time to heal, using each healed scar as a marker for what not to do again.
Ok Bogan, I forgive your people for sending us Rupert.

Seems like there's quite a clear 'who is the bad guy' when one country invades another for territorial and resource claims.

And only one of these two is dropping munitions in civilian areas. And only one that's not sending missiles into the other's sovereign territory (as of the start of conflict in 2014).

My point is that what Musk actually says matters. He talks about a lot of things in passing which are just random ideas. He also talks about things they are actually doing. If he says they are working on something, they are. If says “Hey this is an interesting idea”… maybe they are, but quite likely not.
Musk is a bit of an enigma, but he shoots straight and is often very literal. You are right, he does say some pretty crazy things that come true. That doesn’t mean everything he comments on is going to come true.
From what I have seen, Elon talks about a variety of seemingly outlandish ideas. His talking about them doesn't mean that they will come to fruition. However, when people question him about the idea, it is often clear that he has thought out and designed enough of the idea that for any other person, it would be high time to get some marketing images and a business plan put out and start raising money. But again, that doesn't mean he will implement the idea.

Some ideas he does implement (Boring Company) but some ideas he doesn't (EVTOL). But you can bet your bottom dollar that he has worked the problem deep enough to know why the idea should or shouldn't be implemented. And further decided that for the ideas that should be implemented, if he or his companies will do the implementation or if he will just try to spark interest for someone else to take up the charge (Hyperloop).

So will Tesla offer boating accessories for the CT? Good question. But you can be pretty sure at this point that Elon knows which options would work, what kind of implementation would be most efficient, what would be required on the CT to enable those options, and how best to enable the boating option.

As many times as Elon has talked about boating in a CT I'd guess that there will be a "not a boat" option that will make propulsion in water practical. It will probably require some non-Tesla hardware though. But that is just my current guess. On the other hand, if Tesla is going to release a Cyberquad, Cybercamper, camping mode option, etc, it would not surprise me if there were also some boating option. Not sure how it would be licensed though.

It is definite that a SpaceX Edition Roadster will be able to fly. (A standard Plaid can already do it :)
Just need to be drive fast over the crest of a hill.
With SpaceX Edition Roadster you might land on the next hill.
The type of landing is the real question.

Lol I thought so... paddle hubcaps as per a few days ago.

I'm pretty sure they will want them to change between road and water use so as to not add air resistance whilst driving.

With quad motors and 4ws steering directional control should be easy in the water.

I'm really hoping they add enough positive bouyancy through foam inserts so that it becomes unsinkable even with the gate and doors open. It will likely have two distinct floating states, one with everything closed and sealed using internal air volume for boat mode and a low waterline, and a "survival mode" with high waterline when someone lets to much water in.

Good thing with the battery and motors down low is that the low center of gravity will make it self righting.

But what I like about the comment is that EM is thinking of a hitch motor, for me this means there will be some form of battery power take off provided to drive it, meaning all the PTO farm implements (mowers, snowblower etc) will have a connection point as well.

Time to get on with designing implements then!
I don't think so. Trolling motors for bass boats run off 12v batteries. It won't need much power and we know the bed already has electrical plugs. There is no reason for a PTO.

A PTO on a traction battery is a DC connection to the battery.

Weird thing about that.

I looked into buying a Solectrak tractor and the PTO was actually linked to the transmission. Much like the 50 year old Ford 600 tractor I used to drive, the PTO only runs when the tractor is moving forwards. Since I frequently use out tractor to reverse into blackberries for yard cleanup, it was a deal breaker.

I’m pretty sure the Cybertruck wouldn’t have a PTO attached to the transmission, it was just a curious thing I bumped into.

We know Elon liked the submersible car concept from the James Bond movie.
Is there any indication that Elon is a fan of daredevil performer Evel_Knievel & also Dirty Harry (Clint Eastwood's police character).

This is what could be the future of at least one SpaceX Edition Roadster.
How much further could the SpaceX Edition Roadster jump than an ICE car ???

On September 17, 2016, professional stuntman Eddie Braun successfully jumped the Snake River Canyon in a replica of Knievel's Snake River rocket. Braun cited Knievel as an inspiration, and wanted to show that Knievel's jump would have been successful had the parachute not deployed too early. Braun stated that he was "finishing out [the] dream" of his hero, Knievel.

EDDIE BRAUN JUMPS SNAKE RIVER! Stuntman on Evel Knievel legacy
Eddie Braun completed Evel Knievel's Snake River Canyon jump today, in Southern Idaho! He flew 2000 ft high, accelerating up to 430 MPH in just 3.9 seconds! Eddie Braun spent 3 years and around 1.6 million dollars of his own money, funding this project. Building and designing the steam powered rocket, running tests, and making sure everything was set to go. Congratulations Eddie! You have finished a legacy that Evel Knievel left over 40 years ago. You are an inspiration to the whole stunt community, as well as an inspiration for other kids who will one day grow up to be stuntmen!

“The Dukes of Hazzard” makes TV history with a car jump
1978 November 11
https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/the-general-lee-jumps-into-history

.....
On November 11, 1978, a stuntman on the Georgia set of “The Dukes of Hazzard” launches the show’s iconic automobile, a 1969 Dodge Charger named the General Lee, off a makeshift dirt ramp and over a police car. That jump, 16 feet high and 82 feet long (its landing totaled the car), made TV history. Although more than 300 different General Lees appeared in the series, which ran on CBS from 1979 until 1985, this first one was the only one to play a part in every episode: That jump over the squad car ran every week at the end of the show’s opening credits.

So... an electrical outlet. It has one already.
Assuming you can make a secure/ watertight connection. I would kind of expect the outlets would be GFCI to be legal which would very likely mean tripping outlets frequently when in wet conditions.
