And a USB input so you can use a game pad to move the trailer even without it being hooked up to the truck

Would like to see an option to have a engine sound thru the speaker system.
Normal, no engine noise, V6, V8, V10, Star Wars ship noises :) such as Tie Fighter sounds!

Also different sounds for the navigation voice? POWERRRR! :)

Or are those in the Tesla system already? Havent seen the options.

Yes, I want to hear Jeremy Clarkson scream “POOOOWWWAAAAAAA!!!” whenever I step on it.

How about trailer freewheels, unless throttle released in CT, then trailer would regen instead of a trailer brake. Trailer would be used for back-up storage and generating energy.

If the trailer had a battery pack, I would expect that braking would be regen first, then friction breaks later... as it is for EVs now.

has potential....but I would think the CT motors would not be that fragile :)
Probably not but you want the drag from the trailer as you come to a stop. That's either from mechanical brakes wasting the energy as heat or from a regen process recapturing and recharging a battery. You don't want the trailer pushing you when you are trying to stop so you have three choices: Let the trailer push you and risk having it whip you around, use mechanical brakes and lose the energy as heat, or use a motor in regen to put the energy into storage. I wonder how expensive a motor and, say, 10kWh battery pack would run in a trailer.

OOOO... how about active noise cancelation for those times when you just want to talk and drive?

Hmmm, makes you think. Maybe Tesla should make skateboard trailer frames, that manufacturers could use as a base to build from. Anything from box race trailers, to camping. I like your idea, just a small battery storage for the regen motor, that the CT could draw energy from and push into while camping.

How about a setting where the noise stops, once the vehicle settles into the desired highway speed?

Picture this....a trailer (made by Tesla) with a batter pack underneath that can plug into the CT act as a 2nd battery while towing. Would be easy to make one with a very basic undercarriage and then put whatever on top (flat bed, camper, horse hauler, Box trailer etc). Tesla could supply the base to other manufacturers to put their stuff on top of it. Picture an Airstream with a 500kw Tesla battery in the undercarrage. 1 cable to plug into the CT for supplying the CT with power and vice versa as well as trailer lights.
Saw this a few years ago...
