Some thoughts:
1) These look awesome on the carriers!
2) I agree that it looks like dirt on the door. Even if they are truly scratches, most times, they can be buffed out. That's the beauty of a stainless skin. Been there, done that on minor blemishes. In fact I've seen some pretty amazing panel refurbishment on bigger issues.
3) I wouldn't fret about panel gaps at this time. These are pre-production and I'm confident they will dial in the panel alignment.

With all these sightings why has nobody measured one? Obviously, a tape measure is somewhat conspicuous, but you can quickly use one of those AR measuring apps built into phones.

‘Just wanted to make it clear, this is not panel gap. This is just hood not closing properly. But I agree with you. I don’t expect to see it in production.
