I am around #50,000 and live in Reno, NV. I received the offer last night at 730 PM PST.
So, by ordering the Foundation Series, I will no longer be eligible for the federal tax credit? I also wonder if I don't order the Foundation Series if I lose my spot in line for the Dual Motor. Funny that the price is twice what my order was estimated to cost when I originally reserved in 2019.

I got a text with that offer again this morning. I thought it was bizarre to begin with considering that I have two Tesla's already on my account. Even more bizarre now that I have a 3 an S and a CT order in the account.

You would think they would do a better job with their targeted marketing. Maybe still try to sell an extra car in the meantime, but utilize filters to make the inducement make more sense.

Same boat as you, I’m in Sac. I have like 5 reservations so I have the same question you do. It hurts my heart to plunk down 100k on the cheapest available version. But, does that mean I’ll be moved to the back if I decline?

On second glance FSD is listed as 'Full Self-Driving Capability' which suggests it is capable but not included. Other Teslas without FSD also say FSD capable, but you still have to purchase it. If so, makes the Foundation series A LOT less attractive.

We’re in for some shit if it’s not including the price of FSD entitlement but only the hardware support for FSD. I’m expecting it’s more “it’s not supported on the CT yet” and not more “you have to buy it separately”.
