They cannot say that it “includes FSD” when that feature is not yet CT-ready. I would want to see “Includes FSD when available”.HERE IS AN IMPORTANT QUESTION NEED EXPERIENCED TESLA BUYERS’ INPUT
To the uninitiated (eg me), I am left confused regarding whether these Foundation units come with FSD paid for.
I took the word of a few comments that “FSD Capable” is how Tesla “always” phrases it when FSD has been purchased.
But I’m back to dubious at best, looking more closely back at the order sheets for @CHC and @BayouCityBob
Note in particular it lists *both* “Base Autopilot” and “FSD Capable”
![]()
I *thought* that (Base) AP, Enhanced AP, and FSD were progressive stages of self-driving, that where a more advanced stage like FSD would preclude (or make redundant) listing Base Autopilot. Otherwise, why not also list “Enhanced Autopilot”
Until someone can explain exactly how Tesla always makes it this unclear, and to the outcome of FAD being fully paid for and included but the order sheet says merely “FSD Capable,” I’m left dubious and confused
and frustrated on behalf of the members here who have gotten Foundations in part on the assumption that the price included paid-up FSD
