It’s wild to read all the speculation about the take rate and production rate. How can a month’s worth of orders not moved the target delivery date out by at least another month to quarter?

Because Tesla's estimated delivery dates are total ? when it comes to backlogged new products. When I ordered my refresh Model X in July 2021 they gave me an EDD of December 2021. When December rolled around they moved it to January, and then in January they moved it to February, and then in February they moved it to March, and then in March they moved it to September, and then in July they moved it to December, and then suddenly one day in September 2022 I got a VIN and took delivery several days later.

So they told me 5 months when I placed the order (Order, not Reservation) and then I got it in 14 months. I expect the exact same sort of shenanigans on the Cybertruck, maybe even worse.

Question: When I am going in the Tesla app to the CT screen it shows a 16digit number 3744xxxxxxxx7800 for a split second. Then this number is overwritten by my RN number. Does somebody know what this number is?

Yes, I see that also on my Cyberbeast app page; my number is 3744xxxxxxxx6920. Maybe it's Tesla's internal tracker to see how many times we have been checking on our order?
Or may be it's the internal production tracking number?...???

I just responded to a TESLA EMAIL (OMG!)! I'm trying to be dramatic since we are all in the twilight zone with our FSCT delivery date. The email asked me questions about installing the Powershare Home Backup. It wanted my home address, panel size, panel proximity to where parking CT, if I had solar or backup batteries. I was thrilled to hear I could use the CT to backup my house electrical supply. If I were being silly I would say something like I must be getting my FSCT first. Way before any of you since I got the Powershare Home Backup email. But I'm not THAT silly....

Hmmm...hey, so my last four digits of that fleeting number are 2348, lower than either of you guys' 7800 and 6920 numbers, wonder what the sequencing might mean.

As an FYI, I yam located in Vegas, reserved within first hour of first day, no Tesla employment, no Tesla investments, no relations with anybody at Tesla that counts, with the only thing being we have/had 3 Teslas up thru now; with RN112787xxx I got the invite on 12-26-23 and configured a Beast immediately...
