I mean I didn't cut in front of anybody, as far as I know it goes by reservation in your area. So, in my area my reservation number is in line now. Your area you may not be.

At this point I’d love to have an official explanation on the VIN assignment and delivery priorities. I’m happy for you, in fact, I wish everyone gets a CT, but after 90 days with VIN for me and other people in Virginia, it’s kinda frustrating to see this keep happening without any official explanation.

I hear you 100% man! But no rhymer reason is really frustrating from Tesla. And the constant letting people cut in line with stock or referral credits is just crazy. I think I just got lucky that they are opening up this area. Is a brand new dealer right by my house, it's one of two purpose built Tesla dealers in Minnesota that are just about done. Honestly I think they might be doing a delivery event there.

The production has ramped up a ton, and they are trying to boost their first quarter numbers. So fingers crossed to get yours this week also!

This would be first true MN delivery on here, as it now looks like Tanky didn’t take delivery in MN and instead TX.

I did not realize this. Thanks for bringing this up. I had wondered why no other VINS were opened up. I know of another MN person (via Facebook) that got a VIN today as well.

Yeah, it's interesting all around. I'm in Idaho and configured 12/16 also. States all around us have been delivered trucks but I'm also still waiting for a VIN.

I had spoken to a customer service rep who reported it was "in transit". I asked if this meant that it had left the factory. He replied that it had, but for me to expect a week or two before the car was ready for delivery.

Much to my surprise, my truck showed up today (just 3 days after VIN was assigned) and I was able to get a same-day appointment! Picking it up in a couple hours. Update:
