I use Say.com to register my TSLA shares so I can vote as a shareholder. When I signed into my Tesla account on the Tesla page offering expedited delivery for Tesla shareholders, they instantly recognized they could validate my holdings through Say. The impression I got was that further action on my part might not be needed.

Nothing here yet, I feel like the investor offer has been a bit lackluster compared to the now 2nd run of referral ones.

Just curious why they couldn't have contacted the limited number of people to at least validate and/or ask for documents, or at least say they're good to go due to the Say link. Referral holders supposedly get confirmation in less than 12 hours, whereas long-term investors have been waiting well over a week and a half now.

That what I am saying I gave a third party SAY full access to my brokerage account. And I don’t even get an email? Nothing to let me I’m enrolled? Now there people in NJ getting Vins assigned? This isn’t making any sense !

I submitted/enrolled and have not received the ‘promised’ next step email.

That said, they are getting dangerously close to my RN in the invitations so maybe, for me, it will be a moot point…

Got an email saying shareholder configuration was ready, opened the app and ordered. Went with the Cyberbeast because why not? My two sons have the AWDs and have to show them the old man is still the boss.
I have had my stock status verified with Tesla for quite some time for shareholder voting etc. They also may be doing it based on number of shares you have, I have thousands so may have gotten priority.
I figure letting me order one of these is the least they can do after the recent performance.

You have to register your share through Tesla. Com should be a link somewhere on there to validate stock shares

They did for all of us long-term holders that have validated holdings.

But there are other requirements: that you have a reservation in your name, that you haven’t taken delivery of a Cybertruck, that you owned shares of TSLA at the end of 2/2021, and that you owned 50% of the 500 share minimum. Not all of this is in one place so they really need to tell everyone that they verified all of the requirements or which ones still require proof; it shouldn’t be a secret.

The message I got indicated that would not be necessary, Tesla already had access to my share holdings through Say and that information was linked to my Tesla account so they already had everything they needed and I didn't have to register my shares through Tesla.com.
