Really sad news, got a VIN, paid in full 2 weeks ago, truck in route. Today you no longer have a VIN or a truck!!!!

This has been a great place to share information but lately reading this forum gives me flashbacks to when I paid some attention to reddit. Lots of new members (not all) spewing FUD. Some YouTubers trying to pump their channels with drivel. Still a great place but thankful for the ignore option.

I finally got a number is sales that could answer questions.
888-518-3752 should anyone else need this.
Talked with a nice rep who said she had to research what happened and get back to me.
She texted me back 2 hours later and said that they issued me the first VIN by accident (this is BS but WTF) and said to call her back if I wanted my payment reversed.
This AM I got a new VIN that is 1100 higher then my first.
So yes Tesla fucked up big here but at least they are making it right. My new VIN ends in 5xxx.

They gave me no reason why my VIN disappeared as it was in route. But non of them could tell me wear it was.

Maybe it was one of the trucks that got smashed, a tractor trailer crashed destroying a few CT, I forget where that was.

It's not the end of the world but this delay will mess with a vacation I had planned.
