I was able to spend a full week with cyber wheels (thanks, Turo people!) and now have a few months on my own with core wheels. A/Ts are definitely fine as far as ride smoothness and wind noise, but A/Ss are a noticeable difference. I’m not necessarily advocating for them as they’re less cool and not as good off-road, but if it’s smooth/quiet you want and want to save a few bucks, cores all the way.
this is a great review, yeah I don't think the AT warrant the price and range and smoothness and noise, I prefer cheaper, smoother quieter. thank you

So Excited!
Welcome to the club! It’s a great decision indeed, especially after having the resilience and delayed gratification to not buy FS. I hope you enjoy the truck for years or even decades!

okay, this is good, yeah I'd rather have the bed stay dry, like not leaking...
It is still going to get some water in it. I don’t think they ever planned on it being completely water tight. For example there is a gap at the back of the vault on the bottom where it meets up with the tailgate. Some of said that is allowing some dust in when traveling on dirt roads.

Interesting, might be that trucks aren't supposed to have their beds not get elements.

The beds not waterproof, but I really haven't had issues with water intrusion. The one big test was driving to the airport in a thunderstorm. and my suitcase was dry when I got there.

I noticed the screen flex at first as well. Not a stiff as my wife's Y, but I haven't thought about it since the one time I pressed hard on it, excluding this post.

You wont be let down by the truck. Probably my favorite vehicle I've owned.

Yeah I think that is the general thinking. I’m sure there are some toppers/caps for some trucks that do a better job than the vault prior to the fix they have. Going to have them replace mine in Feb, will see how it does after. I’m not overly worried about it but seeing how they will do it, why now.

Hello Everyone, nice to be here!
So I'm buying the cybertruck as I have been a long time reservation holder and I never pulled the trigger. I wanted to test drive the car and see some on the road before I make a decision given that I've had many very early versions of Teslas and I'm now grown beyond "being the first kid on the block" to own anything and I wanted to see more things being fixed before I buy something; but yesterday I had the chance to spend two hours with the cybertruck and it was just pure fun it's a phenomenal car and it's an incredibly joy bringing toy.

I have a few questions for this esteemed community:
Did Tesla fix the waterproofing of the bed?
Did Tesla address, the spongy soft feeling of the center screen because my other Teslas don't have that play when you press on them.

What do you guys think about the aggressive thread pattern of the off-road tires versus the all season tires, I tested / drove the off-road ones, but I heard that the all season are softer on the road and more comfortable and less loud. is that true?

Has anyone managed to move their free supercharging from a previous car to the cyber?

What other things should I be aware of before taking delivery of my car? I'm aiming to get it by the end of the quarter which is the end of March.

Many of these things might have been addressed in different threads so I apologize for redundancy.

Stay cool!
TREAD Carefully .....then just buy the Bloody CT.
With all it's faults, blemishes and warranty issues to date ( did someone say RIV_!T ???? )
I would have one in a HEART BEAT......
One came to Oz last year and l went to visit it 5 times with different members of our Staff @MAGIC
The wish is for it to turn up on Christmas Day 2026.... ( They say : 'Tell him he's Dreamin' )
TOCA members reckon l'm too early by 12 months!!!!
Can't BLOODY WAIT

The bed is not waterproof. The same as any other truck. The CT’s tannaeu is not designed to be water or air tight. Air and water travel freely in and out of the bed. It deflects some moisture/water if closed, but it isn’t watertight.

The flex in the screen is a feature not a bug.

I have the all-terrains and don’t think they produce any noise. They provide great ride.

I don’t know if anyone transferred free SC-ing to a CT, but there are a few FS CTs available for sale with free SC-ing.

Some CTs have had issues that Tesla is resolving. But you won’t know what they are until after delivery. Like a constant vibration at speed due to imperfect motors that need replaced.

Enjoy your truck!
'Enjoy your truck'
And plug it in at night!

i went with the core wheels as they were the cheaper option and is also the wheel setup with the longer range. for $3,000 you can buy a set of take offs/used set of tires/wheels for about the $3,000 "upgrade" from tesla and you will own then own two sets of wheels.

yeah, and tbh they look good!
Since I own both set of wheels, I think, in my opinion only, the core wheels without the cover looks best out of the two, but if I had to rank them it would be:

1. Core wheels without the covers
2. Cyber wheels with covers
3. Cyber wheels without the covers
4. Core wheels with the covers
