I know a few contractors who love Cybertruck and were waiting for this deal. Most don’t realize the ripple effects of this deal. CT has to penetrate the market just enough to hook into this set of target customers (those who fall into this income group). Once it’s tapped in, Cybertruck will speak for itself. This is how products get widely adopted. Every deal or model variation will appeal to certain group. Once you have a strong targeted customers established, others will follow. Same thing will happen with RWD once it’s released.For several reasons then this may be just a short end of quarter burst in sales. How many people were really needing the $7500 tax break to push them over the edge? Guessing many have lost patience and purchased already - FOMO and all.
There is always a wife who says “Look contractor Bob got a Cybertruck. We should get one too”. Word of mouth is a very powerful thing. I’m expecting tons of CTs on the road this year and even more in the next few years!
