That’s old stock that don’t qualify for credits. Only new build…
If I search Tesla inventory for Cybertrucks in my area, I now get separate listings for CTs that are/aren't eligible for the tax credit, including:

- About two dozen ineligible vehicles, most of which are available for immediate pick-up, and
- Only one eligible vehicle, and it's still in transit.

Wouldn't surprise me if Tesla offers additional incentives to move the ineligible stock. They are already offering free wraps for 2024 FS, and small discounts for 2024 non-FS, but they may need to go further.

FSD transfer could prob be valid for those ? which is better than the tax credits. 8k > 7500

Makes sense to me. For example, those skimpy $1600 discounts on 2024 non-FS AWDs could suddenly become a lot more interesting if FSD transfer was also included. And it seems like offering FSD transfer as an incentive would be less expensive for Tesla than subsidizing the costs for Lifetime Free Supercharging or Free Wraps from XPEL.

You'd have to think free FSD transfer will be their preferred path. Cheapest for Tesla than a refit.

I see Tesla offering complimentary FSD on all leftover 2024 non FS Cybertruck’s. There is currently zero incentive to purchase a leftover 2024 since it doesn’t qualify for the $7500 tax credit.

This offer would appeal to buyers that don’t qualify for the 2025 Cybertruck tax credit.

I predict we will see 2024 Cybertruck factory incentives before Q1 ends next month.

If I search Tesla inventory for all deliverable options in my area, and then review the results for 2024s specifically, I see:

- 2024 Model S: 0
- 2024 Model 3: 0
- 2024 Model X: 1
- 2024 Model Y: 0
- 2024 Cybertruck: 23

The Cybertruck number includes four 2025s that are ineligible for the tax credit, and therefore similar to 2024s from a customer perspective.

Tesla reported that they finished 2024 with only 12 days of supply in global inventory. That's a good number, but it may not have been representative for the Cybertruck specifically.

My local SC shows 25 leftover 2024’s to choose from. Over a week ago they showed 17. They show a lot of demo vehicles with a minor discount.

This is least expensive Cybertruck that the site shows. A new 2024 AWD model:

All-Wheel Drive
Est $1,269 /mo financing • $78,390

The $78,390 number seems to be the current floor for a new non-FS AWD that doesn't qualify for the tax credit.

Demos can be a bit cheaper. So far the lowest price I've seen (without the tax credit) is $77,500, or est. $1254/mo financing. That's for a demo non-FS AWD in Seattle, with 835 miles on the odometer.

Seems like Tesla could do better.
