Attention monitoring in my cyber truck goes haywire on FSD at night. It’s almost like It can’t see where my eyes are looking. I don’t get the same issue during the day so it has nothing to do with me not truly paying attention or not keeping my hands on the whale. I have Same driving habit during the day is night (keeping my eye on road and hands on wheel. It’s just that at night. I get all of the beeps and warnings that I’m not paying attention. I even try to open my eyes wide or move my head forward so the camera sees me more clearly but that’s not really feasible or comfortable to keep doing. Anybody else having this problem and how do I report it to Tesla?

What does the camera preview look like? A lot of trucks had blurry cameras.

Do you where glasses, and if so are they the same at night?

I was driving right into the setting sun. The sun was below the sunshades and I shielded my eyes first with a baseball cap and finally with both the cap and my hands. I was getting a flashing blue warning about every 3-4 minutes. I would grab the wheel and shake and get another couple of minutes of reprieve.

It would be nice if FSD could handle this situation without the harassment.

How bright do you have the ambient/accent lighting, and what color is it?

Maybe the infrared illuminator is defective… ?
Not saying this is your issue, but some people have covered the interior camera housing with a carbon fiber accessory. While there is a cut-out for the camera, people don’t realize the camera is surrounded by infrared sensors that FSD uses at night which the carbon fiber housing covers over. That would produce the effect you’re seeing. RPM Tesla has a new version that does not cover the infrared sensors if anyone is having that issue.

This happened to me when I was driving to Tahoe. I had sunglasses on and it kept disabling the Attention Monitor and had my jerk the wheel, then it would randomly reactivate like 3 miles down the road. I was on a straightaway, bright day, kept my head facing forward. It was definitely intermittent. It did this a few times in the course of a 3.5 hour drive.

Cabin camera is unimpeded and no accessories on or near camera.

I haven't had a problem with attention monitoring (after the first few days and figuring out what it wanted of me). Basically, I just have to keep looking out the windshield at regular intervals. If I need to look at the display for a longer period, I just make sure I look up at the road briefly. It seems to work at least as well at night.

I’m using the the default red color at moderate intensity. Is there a better color to try?

Thanks. What is RPM Tesla? I am not using any internal carbon accessory covering.

If you're getting those issues only at night and the IR sensors are not covered, I'd bring it into a Tesla service center to check out as those sensors may need some adjustment or replacement. I believe I heard someone else indicate they may have been disturbed through the installation of the video rearview mirror some like me have installed.
RPM Tesla is a Tesla accessories retailer - you can find them here - cool stuff - no affiliation to me. https://www.rpmtesla.com/pages/cybertruck-collection-list
