Driving home and noticed autopilot wouldn’t turn on, but it turned on cruise control instead. On a straight road while coming to a stop sign the CT display showed “Curvature assist active,” but I haven’t a clue why or what it means any ideas?

Curvature Assist can be quite annoying. It consistently slams on the brakes on the straight sections of highways in areas with intersections. That and phantom braking (from being blinded) makes Autopilot quite dangerous, given the habit of other drivers of following too closely.

Ah, I never knew why it would do this before FSD. All I knew was I couldn’t use cruise control on my new toy…I don’t know why FSD turned itself off, but I definitely don’t want to go back to the old way!

FSD sometimes gets disabled after a software update, if you have it on your truck then you can just re-enable it through the Autopilot configuration menu. I don't have FSD at this time, and Traffic-Aware Cruise Control is where the Curvature Assist will show its flakiness. Probably the worst feature in this entire vehicle.

FSD self disabled twice since getting latest update. I’ll see if it happens again tomorrow.

Are you using autopark by any chance? That disables FSD for me every time I use it. Definitely a bug.

Auto park? Oh, yeah, I did use that today! It doesn’t work very well so I stopped using it and figured I’d test it with the new FSD. Still doesn’t work well. It does eventually work, which is a neat trick, but it needs improvement.
