Changing adhesive would be the quickest method that wouldn’t require a redesign to how it’s currently attached.

I’m just curious on how they’re going to inspect / test the vehicles that are currently on hold.

You'd hope they can track the change in how they applied the glue (assuming that's the root cause) by VIN....

Or weld the cantrail trim to the front fender trim and rear sail trim ??‍

It seems like using a different glue is going to be the best solution. Perhaps some clips that grab on the end and tuck under the other panel pieces would work as well. I hope they find a solution fast. I'm going to be out of the country for several weeks in April. I'd like to lock in that 1.99% loan. If I remember correctly, the loan is only good for 30 days. I'm not sure how this containment hold will affect the loan.

I asked the same question, but the advisor completely ignored that question about the promotional rate still being honored after the quarter ends. ??‍

Same here. I need to limit how many miles I put on the trade in. Luckily I have a 2nd vehicle to use

If it was a Ford from the '50s or '60s I'd just add on a fin or some other cool accessory over the lifting panels edges to secure it. You can't go wrong with fins!

I'm not sure what the fix was, but I just received a message from Tesla asking me to schedule my delivery. I scheduled it for this Saturday 3/22. Hats off to all of the news organizations that reported the problem today, the day a fix has already been applied and I can pick mine up.
