When should I expect the truck?

Hey guys I was approved for the promotional rate 1.99% I submitted my insurance cards, I was assigned a vin number. When should I expect them to ask me for the final payment (money down) also to sign paperwork. Thank you guys MLH&R

Totally depends on where you live and if they have to transport the truck… I ordered yesterday and got a call today from my service center and they said it will be about a week and a half give or take. I live in Michigan! They promised me delivery before 3/31. What spec did you get and what’s the last 5 of yo hr VIN?

They have containment holds on all trucks due to the cant rail issue that’s been discussed here. Still not ETA on when that hold will be lifted.

Nothing yet, they reached out to me with the Delivery appointment. Maybe something will get delayed, or they already have a fix that they will apply, or mine isn't affected. We'll see.

At least they’re scheduling for you. My first delivery date was scheduled for this past Saturday (3/15), but that got canceled quick. Still no word on a new delivery date. Hopefully next Wednesday sticks for you!

If you download the Tesla app and login with the same email you used to order the truck, I think you’ll see the pre-delivery tasks and get an idea as to when you’ll need to make payment. Note, I say “think” because when I ordered mine, I was already a Tesla owner so I saw it in the app.

As for when you’ll be asked for final payment, they’ll ask you for it prior to your delivery date. You’ll connect to your bank account via an intermediary software app called Plaid. It’s integrated into the Tesla website. Once you connect, it’ll pull the funds the next day. Note, you can also wait to pay them until you show up to take delivery. I’m pretty sure that’s what I did.

I’m on week 6 since I ordered my Cybertruck when I was told 2 weeks, so not sure if I would ever trust anything the local shop says unfortunately.

Even before the nationwide hold last week I had 7 separate delays on the delivery date.
