delayed delivery due to inspection?

Spoke with my service center yesterday morning at 8am and they said they do not have parts and don’t know when they’d get them.

10am- I get a call saying parts are in and my cybertruck will be ready for pickup tomorrow (now TODAY)!

Could you take some more pictures of the cantrails near the front around the glass? I want to see what the new bolt and glue looks like!

Attached is what I could get. The passenger side has some trim in the way, surprisingly not on the driver side. Will have to see if this is spec at my service appt.

That is odd, there should be a weather seal there like you said, I do see the new 2nd nut that must be welded on, the glue looks thicker then before as well

I’ve started with just isopropyl alcohol for most things, like some residual marks and finger prints (can’t find my windex). It’s worked quite well, and I haven’t seen any issues in my spot testing.

Obviously will be using more economical solutions longer term, but have found it to be useful in the short term.

Detailing it now to get a closer look. Everything looks good so far. Pretty solid build as it looks so far.

Cleaning this car is a PAIN

My barkeepers came, and I have spray away. I didn't order Windex, but I guess I should. i also bought a cheap handheld polisher, so if i need to use it, i will. Man, it feels like sunday is weeks away! heh congrats!

i did try to get tampa to let me get it Saturday, but they are fully booked i was told, i am on the waitlist if someone cancels. Maybe i should still show up for the protest festivities! lol

I use liquid bar keepers friend and wipe it off with ammonia free windex. Really brings out the silver color

Yes that polisher will be HELPFUL. Definitely get the ammonia free windex to go with it

It’s called clean. It was from pan the organizer. If you’re not familiar he is a big YouTuber I learned a lot about detailing and apparently his coating is very diy friendly. Linking video below.

I think i am going to go with a glossy vinyl and maybe ceramic over it to protect it, its like $800 more from the shop i think.
