Window and Sunroof Tint

Would it even be worth it tint the sunroof, if I have the sunroof sunshade installed that came with the foundation series?

If you are going to leave the sunshade up save the $, but some people don't like the look of the sunshade or like to be able to have passengers enjoy the view

Good idea, I’m just worried if my sunroof will crack if I tint it, I’m going with XPEL Prime Plus for my FS Cyberbeast I also already have the light bar installed. I’ve been keeping the sunshade in since I got the truck last August but since I’m tinting everything else I might as well do the sunroof just concerned.

With the risk of cracking if your using the sunshade full time might not be worth tinting, if you go the tint route would go XPEL as tesla realizes that their fishbowls need tint to not cook people and if you have an issue you will likely get some help from XPEL/Tesla as opposed to another place.

What’s the cost for Xpel all windows but not sunroof? Roughly…I know it varies but haven’t tinted in two years and it was a Mitsubishi.

2025 CTs come with a dark roof - a change that my detailed noticed that is a huge change from 2024. I had authorized him to do a 20% tint but he advised that the change from 2024 was dramatic, and that even in Florida he would no longer suggest tinting the roof. I did have him n do the front door windows (30%) and the windshield (70%).
