It does not ride better, if you put them both in standard mode, you wouldn’t be able to tell which one you’re driving. Also mechanical lockers are not better. Have two motors that can do the exact same thing as a mechanical lockers. Also you can take corners with software lockers having them turn and different rates, while not loosing torque to either. Also the cyber truck isn’t a great offroad vehicle any way(yes very capable) but if your doing rock crawling or anything serious, it’s just too long and heavy.Let me keep this simple. You don’t need a Beast. The AWD has plenty of horsepower and speed and it rides better, costs less and is objectively more capable off-road because of front and rear mechanical lockers.
The OP asked which is better for day to day driving, and they drive the same expect power. If your the type of driver that likes to be able to hammer It when trying to merge because the idiot won’t let you in, and get in front of them without them being able to do anything about it. Go for the cyber truck. When I got my model S, I always regretted not going for the plaid. I have no regrets with the Beast
