It had been in that location previously when the door was open and mapped the area. It then saved that mapping for reference.
Possibly, but it doesn't include the rear wall in the visualization which it would know exists because it has been parked inside this garage bay many times.

I agree. This is AI hallucinating...or guessing since it probably documents it as a garage door.

That could be due to distance.
If you drive away from the garage door, do the rest of the features fade away?

Will try it out, I'm guessing it's a range/reach issue on the displayed visualization.

Broadly : The technology is there to 'read' wifi' signal strength and create a 'negative' of objects behind a wall. AI could be used to render that into a 'positive' picture. But I doubt the CT is doing that ... Yet !!

I was wondering the same thing. When I got a loaner Model Y, it was even able to see through my garage door, and my door doesn't have any windows.

I have noticed it tracking people inside the building when I'm at drive through windows
Thank goodness that the cameras are only 5MP! Imagine a 48MP (or Samsung 200MP) camera sensor with ZOOM capability! Stalker’s best car!
