Drove for 3.5 hours today, covered 185.8 miles from Silver Spring, MD to Princeton, NJ. Highway speeds with one 10 minute slowdown. AC blowing cold on a hot day.

Was stunned to find that I used only 48.2% of the battery. Doing the quick math, that means in the dead of summer it's possible to drive a Cybertruck AWD on 35" all terrains at highway speeds for seven straight hours covering 370 miles before stopping to charge. What the what?!

If you're not towing, who needs a bigger battery? BTW, I did have crossbars mounted, one passenger and luggage for two of us (along with a full-sized spare) all cutting into my efficiency.

I found the same, there is no 'noticable' difference in distance in the heat. Live in So. California, the summers here are pushing 98-102 for weeks at a time.

I do not have to 'consider' any loss of driving distance.

I would offer, 100' is hot to us shaved monkeys - to metal, and wire - it's not really much of a temperature change.

Nice! I'm getting better efficiency with the CT than my previous vehicle (2020 Model Y). Have 5,400 miles on it and averaging 414 wh/mi, which is about 91% of rated range/efficiency. My Model Y was around 15 - 18% less than rated range.

WOW, that is fantastic mileage…!!! Your profile says that you have an AWD CT. Please state the factory HP and range.
I have a CyberBeast and do not expect that mileage.
THANKS

Try that when it’s 10 degrees, it’s like you’re towing ac doesn’t suck the juice like heat. Drove from SF to Jax only crap range was leaving Arizona at 10 -10 windchill watching the arrival % click down as I drove… if I had used the recommend ready to go I’d froze in the middle of nowhere among the sticks and rocks.

We also find the range to be much better than our 2022 AWD Y, but definitely not getting 7 hours of driving, lol. You must be driving slow.

Definitely not 700 miles, but looks like 370 is quite possible and 7 hours of driving. Travel was 60-70mph with one slowdown to stop and go for ten minutes due to traffic which dropped my average to 55mph but that wasn't the speed I travelled at.

Sorry, meant to say 7 hours not 700 miles. You must have had wind behind your back. 7 hours of driving at 60-70mph without wind pushing you is not possible.

On average the AC will probably use about 1kW. In a 123kwh pack that equates to less than 1% in one hour. Now on an old standard range model 3 it would still use about 1kW but on a 60kwh battery which would equate to ~2% battery in an hour.

Tint can effect that 1kW usage lower as well as a sunshade. The sun will affect usage more than temperature.

Wind will effect range a significant amount. If you drive into a 20 mph wind at 60mph that’s equivalent to driving 80 mph; but if you have a 20 mph tailwind that’s like driving 40mph.
