Roof Applique now available for $150 in the Tesla Shop

I guess I missed something, why are these not listed as included on 2025 AWD and Beasts?

We’re talking about the little doors that hinge open so you can access the crossbar mounting points on the roof. If we take their note as truth, Beasts still come with them. AWD stopped including them last November so if you wanted to mount crossbars over the roof you had to buy these parts. Now they’re available for sale widely and at a decent price.

They stopped including roof doors last November, forget what day right off. Per their note, all Beasts should come with them. Can anyone with a December 2024 or a 2025 build confirm that?

I picked mine up on 26Dec2024 with the roof doors. Unsure the exact date it was made.

I just purchased these, much better than the $700 I was quoted from service.
I assume this includes both sides? There is no way to change the quantity and you cannot add more than one to the cart. Wish the description was a little more clear.

It must include both sides, otherwise we’d need a left and right option like we do with the MOLLE Panels. But please do let us all know.

I was able to get mine switched for free - 2025 AWD built in Feb and delivered March 3. However, I had ordered four OEM crossbars at the same time I ordered the truck, and the Tesla website's CT pics still included the doors on every pic where you could see the roof through at least the beginning of April.

I noticed the missing doors on the day of delivery, was quoted $700 to replace with door appliques, but pointed out that it was a bait and switch. Ten minutes later a Beast on the lot had flat appliques and my AWD had door appliques. So there's at least one Beast without doors, and one '25 AWD with doors - delivered at the Delray Beach sales center.

This new pricing is a great find and much more fair.

Did they just add the final slat or did they change out the seal and actually waterproof the vault?

Yea they didn't update the seal between the applique and the roof glass, water runs down the glass and hits the applique and if that gasket is not solid it funnels the water right into the pool, I mean vault.

I have a November 2024 build and I have them. Must have just made the cut.

Is anybody's appliques bowing in heat? I had that issue and replaced to resolve.

Added the option for Roof trims without the access panels for the Xpel Armor. Currently working on the new 'false wall' that Tesla has updated in the vault.

My CT has appliqué doors, but I ordered it anyway. They still list for $270 each in the EPC. Appointment is set for July 15th, but posted in the service messages I’m looking to only pick up the parts; no install needed. Will report back when I have more info.

Picked them up and they’re the same ones listed for $270/ea in the EPC.
