Really? An incredible deal? Seems like more overpriced Tesla add-ons to me. I'm not in the market so I don't care, but I was shocked at the price myself. Right up there with a $3000 tent. Hard pass on both for me.

Just basing that on the price of aftermarket armor out there. Haven’t found any so affordable so far.

Not sure how I feel about the $3,000 tent, but the price seems about what I would expect for the armor. Good rock sliders are not cheap and that is a HUGE aluminum skid plate with some significant manufacturing touches. I would expect to pay more and get less form an aftermarket source. The price also includes shipping to and installation by my local SC which is in my neighborhood. It's a lot of dough but frequently you get what you pay for. Of course, the need for rock sliders and a huge skid plate is probably pretty low for your average CT driver (me included) so I will be interested to see how well these sell. I was shocked that they set me up for an install next week.

Curious to see how much extra weight this adds, and the impact on range.

But what a nice surprise. Despite sub-stellar sales, it shows that Tesla is still committed to the Cybertruck to release more accessories. This is a great one to see. Not a gimmick.

For those of you getting this installed soon, try to see how much weight this adds, and if you have time to do a before / after miles per kWh even though I doubt the impact will be significant due to the weight… but wondering what the impact of removing the wheel mud flaps / aero kits is? Probably someone answered that somewhere already….

But in the Notes is states compatible with CyberBeast and All-Wheel Drive..

looks like there’s a step, very similar to CybertruckCo offering. I am waiting to see if they will offer it separately from under armour- only interested in the step part.
