Met a fellow CT owner at a supercharger and noticed the top of his vault had some "modifications"
He said after 5 different service center appointments, them adding a slat on the first, and the rest of the time telling him it was "in spec" he took black silicone to the top area by the glass and down the sides.
He had a lot of tools for his job in the back he could not afford to get wet so this was his solution.
Looks a little rough around the edges but maybe the only 100% waterproof vault on the road until Tesla gets the new applique gaskets out.

I have similar results by using Foam Backer Rod in those cracks. 1/8" and 1/4". Depending on where you stuff it. It has stayed in the cracks through several car washes, spray and drive through. https://www.amazon.com/Backer-Concrete-Filler-Joints-Backing/dp/B0D4LX4ZYD/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=2XBWZB0DR58ZH&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.0WjW1esT50dMyP25yj-An1paRDZDcGxGd1_2kGAFBO_kGdoHLsVCOefEoTOSrvAd8NzpsSCKlEI4Tz1-QK2qLqpOgKh2-ZDkSMT0iknQhJMIGEdc8hXyzm4lDMFFrdug7h_V4fPkDmjCRskphTN4Ky7PgVYNDlsffWQ5P_92f33ymqt7RQuxVN9NIH2XoFjbc9cKwCamsHS5fP5L4Ue-pQ.JXX8DxJ_kq-NjSjnkoQy4icnF9oJhLye6OMWJhvbQa4&dib_tag=se&keywords=1/4+"+foam+backer+rod&qid=1755158751&sprefix=1/4+"+foam+backer+rod,hi,68&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1

I would have used painters tape to keep the edge lines symmetrical; here in Florida with the heat that silicone would look terrible with sand sticking to it. Also,if you have to remove the appliqué in the future,it might be a challenge.

I wonder if butyl tape (like for windshields) would be the correct choice here applied under that panel.
