Thank you so much for the update and pics! Can’t wait to get mine. A quick 3 part question lol!

Does this affect
1. Acceleration
2. Efficiency
3. Handling

thanks!!!

I have not noticed any changes from before. I asked the service center guys these questions and I received blank stares, and a quiet "this is the first one we installed, we do not know."

One thing though is that I really like the look better than before.

Well it eliminates the little wheel fairings and I think it was @Urander that told me that can have as much as a 5% range impact in some tests. I apologize if I’m misremembering that.
I personally have not noticed a difference eliminating mine. It basically weighs like another passenger so that should have minimal impact.
Improved chassis stiffness can only improve handling and with respect to acceleration, I think the same arguments apply as efficiency. Minimal.

Yep, 5% for both front and rear. They’re there for a reason, and you’ll notice more range impact at speeds above 80mph

It was this piece of education from you that made me keep my fronts that have never broken. Only the rears. So thank you for that.

So 5% at 80 mph? Did you get results for slower speeds?

That the part I’m worried they can’t step on. The current t-sport line rocker “armor” I have is flat at the top so functions well as a step.

does your setup cover the jack points, and does the service center charge to remove them if you go in for service?

I am sure there is a thread on this somewhere, forgive my Monday laziness.

Yes. Interested also for a friend who doesn’t drive at felony speeds.
Felony? Only in town! Around here if you aren't doing over 70 on the highway you are parked.

The left lane is made for crimes, not passing ...

I had the Los Gatos service center install the new Terrestrial Armor package https://shop.tesla.com/product/cybertruck-terrestrial-armor-package

I beat up the truck quite a bit since I got it in April 25; so this is extra piece of mind.

The enhanced rock sliders / structural rockers look great with a textured finish.

The battery cover is solid, but not yet tested. Also, it conveniently covers up prior transgressions :p

I got mine installed last Thursday and it looks great but Service didn't install half the fasteners so I have a Mobile Service appt for Wednesday for them to install the rest. I don't think the holes lines up properly so who knows if he'll get them all in. Only my rear drivers' side is installed correctly.
