Space X Buying Cellular Bandwidth & Model Y Competition

Today’s WSJ has 2 interesting articles. The first says that BMW & Mercedes are attempting to chisel away at the success of the Model Y. The more interesting article says that Space X bought $17 B in cellular bandwidth from Echostar. This is actually big news and a major move.

yep! eventually they will be able to supposedly beam 5G coverage to the entire planet with the spectrum they are freeing up.

I suspect this is why we haven't seen a built-in starlink terminal in the vehicles yet.

they already are, my dude. lol

if you mean specifically, a cell service provider ... then no. at least not for the foreseeable future. that market segment is extremely tough to enter and exist in.
