Yea I like it and think it’s worth it. Mine fits a little better than other but I may slip a washer in there to raise it a little bit off the connector though. Here are some more pictures

The aftersales service team wants me to grind/shave the metal mount to make the screen connector fit.

I didn’t buy this to make hard modifications to make it fit. That is not my job to do. That is an issue the product engineer needs to fix for a redesign of the product.
Seriously?

I just added a washer to the left side to give the cable a little wiggle room. It’s not much but better than nothing. They definitely need to redesign this.

What year model do you have and which variant Cybertruck?

On the bottom of my other post I mentioned this, unfortunately I didn't take a pic of it. I forgot and had mounted the screen back on at that point. I had to remove about 2mm of plastic from the shell (on the top side of where the bracket goes) because when I added the washer it raised it up and when I would tighten down the bolts it would pop the plastic shell off because it was hitting so I had to make clearance for that too. if you do it bench top you'll see where its hitting and where to cut. I'd rather sacrifice metal and plastic from the swivel kit any day over damaging the screen.
What year model do you have and which variant of the cybertruck?

Dead serious.
Personally, I’d want my money back if they told me I needed to “grind” around arguably the most important connector in the car.
please let me know when your product is actually ready for sale.

I have a late 2024 FS beast. I was looking at the back of the screen on the pics you and someone else posted w the new mount and comparing it to my pics to see if there was some sort of difference in the mounts or circuit board. While they look a little different, nothing jumped out at me to say ah ha..

Oh no no no. Engineering needs to do THEIR job and solve the actual design problem. They need to stop selling the defective, incompatible part and redesign it correctly. That is- if it actually was designed by their engineer and not some remote “overseas” .LLC.
Unfortunately they took a chance on offering a product that they likely only chose to sell, less likely that they actually designed and produced risking their own name and reputation…. Now they are dealing with the aftermath of that.

companies that do the work, that check their math to the best of their ability- still have problems sometimes, but its less likely- AND if there is a problem they can jump in, redesign, and redistribute, not unlike Tesla.
Other companies (like simple importers/distributers) are left holding the stick by the MFG who already got their money and don't care about the end user-
Just my 2 cents on why i wont install products like this one on my very expensive vehicle. Especially products that are for critical vehicle components like the screen. 🤷🏽‍♂️

"Tool-Free"

Also...tools :) not that I expected it to be actually Tool-Free. Though maybe they meant free tools and it was mistranslated 😂

Will see how accurate 3 mins is on my FSCB

Im surprised they redesigned the bracket and didnt address this actually. Seems like a pretty simple fix. Id assume that the bracket is either milled or laser cut, just design and mill a relief cutout for the cable, same way I did just not sloppy with a dremel. Oh they can also send the royalty check directly to my account.

lol no way this is milled or laser cut, that would cost money!
These are cast, you can see some of the flashing on the images of the bracket up close. Cheapest way of making these parts.

I'm gonna wait until this is redesigned to v3 or they drop the price significantly to make up for the fact that I will have to modify the product myself to make it work.
