Debating on adding something from the Tesla store since I have $400 expiring in 2 weeks. What accessory or parts from the Tesla store should I purchase that makes sense?
I like the jump seats but only $200 for 2.

Perhaps. I use the seats without the tailgate pad. They work fine.
Didn’t know that. I had read you need it to attach to. Never even seen the seats in person.

Yes, I have them. No, there is no delay. They are amazing. Dead simple. Super fun. No feedback. No delay. No excuses. Tesla product. One accessory you’d have to pry out of my hands young Frankenstein style. Require a usb splitter of some sort in the glovebox if you don’t want to unplug them. Which you don’t.
I use this :

works awesome because it makes a little shelf you can Velcro dongles to the top of. The glovebox drawer moves but the usb port does not so that matters. In my case the microphone dongle and the two wireless controller dongles live on top of it.
I just typed the word dongles several times and it really is an awful word. Is there a better one?

I’ve been debating the mics but I think this just freaking sold me. I DO want to talk about your starry setup in the headliners good sir how where I LOVE that and I know my kids would
Too.

Yes. I strap both seats to molle panels or the L track on the bed walls. They even look cool. Easy to grab and use plus out of the way storage. If they were permanently on the tailgate they would be in my way. There is a hard shell on one side to resist damage.

Would love to see a picture of what this looks like if you have time and wouldn’t mind?

So when you sit in them you can lean back and they don’t topple without being attached to something?

Right. The backrest will support you as long as you keep your butt down. Pretty handy little things. You can even rock back and forth in them. Tailgate shield recommended for ultimate stability, but not required.

They sound cool. I use this pad thingy. Works well as a changing table, bench, work surface and cushioning for the tailgate when it’s closed for fragile things and soft little people.

Love it. With the tailgate pad, bed divider, and rubber floor liner, it’s like a roving playpen haha

You got it.
I go a little further than that for holiday lights

Basically, remove everything from the l-tracks, then I put down the Tesla textile mat.
Then this mattress which is freaking awesome.

Then a blanket and some pillows and soft sided box to store loose stuff.
Pad on the tailgate to finish it off and your uncle is Bob. Roving playpen

What a time to be a kid. I’m gonna be super old someday. I remember life before internet. Before cell phones. When internet became a thing, you couldn’t stay on it too long - someone might call the landline 🤣
