I think they just want more 'exposure' to them because of all the 'bad press' (am I the only one that noticed that Reuters REALLY hates Tesla more than any other news?)...

They want people to experience riding in them, seeing them, maybe even punching them...

I mean model 3s, Ys are pretty 'boring' (pun intended) driving through a tunnel... They are just 'cars' (and I have a Y), but I think getting a ride in a CT will help people hate them less...

When they become autonomous, steer-by-wire is the way to go because the wheel doesn't need to move for the tires to turn. This would better suit passengers in the driver's seat. It will be AMAZEBALLS if FSD would route my Cybertruck through the tunnels when it saves time!!

Could I drive MY CT through the tunnel?

They don't let private individuals drive in the tunnels, but I'm betting that once unsupervised FSD becomes a thing, Boring tunnel access will become a benefit.

Can you imagine skipping traffic in this way!?!?
