After downloading 14.1.7, I went to my garage and pushed the blue button. Car backed out perfectly, turned into the driveway and drove the programmed route with no issue on a round trip back to my house. For arrival, I set "Parking Garage" and the car backed into my garage perfectly. Only problem is I always park with the nose forward. As parked now, I can't open the tail gate or plug in the charge cord. I can't access the parking mode as it seems to be set in memory for "Home". I'm sure I won't be the only one with this issue. Has anyone found away to get the car to pull into a home garage facing forward?

It did slam on brakes today due to direct sunlight. I think that's a universal issue T

No, it seems random. The options are "Charger, Driveway, Curb" for home...Charger is 50/50 of backing in or pulling in forward for me.

I read that if you delete your home, re-add it with your vehicle on the charger, it will know what position it is, but I haven't tried that, yet.

Works great! Handled all my neighborhood speed humps better than the version 13. However, at a yellow light, it seemed a bit necrotic. It started pumping the brakes, but wouldn't have had enough time to stop, so I hit the juice a little and it went through the intersection just fine. I noticed similar brake pumping, but to a lesser extend when going around pedestrians.

On a good note, it handled deer crossing the road wonderfully.

Got the update this morning. Took me a hot second to get used to not having that "set max speed" on the right scroll wheel. Just cycles through the drive types.
I usually run in "hurry" mode, obviously it changes in FSD but I keep speed max at 9 mph over the limit. It was running about 15mph over this morning which was with the traffic flow but going with the flow is a lousy defense to a speeding ticket!

Setting still says +9 and limit as relative but being able to set a max speed is an ability I hope we regain.

I have the notice for the update...
.
Is this the update that removed the scroll wheel speed adjustment?
It will render FSD almost useless for me. To many time the truck reads imaginary speed limit signs and will do 25 mph on a 45 mph area. School zones are bad also it will read a 20mph school speed limit at 9 pm. There are many schools where I live and the truck stays at 20 and sometimes less then 20 for a mile till it sees the 30 sign or what ever the limit is on the road before or after the school. I'm going to enjoy 38.8 till I hear some good reports.
That makes sense, complain before you even try it.

Yay! Installing now. Both me and my kid were eagerly waiting for this. Right in time for our road trip from PNW to Bonneville salt flats next week.

2 Cyberbeast down loaded, installed, first thing I noticed no more scroll wheel must go faster, I did notice this morning driving to work that it did avoid potholes and I’m also looking forward to avoid storm drains on the right side of the road. I’m still mixed and also when you turn off the FSD it used to ask you to report it but now it’s not there.

so here’s something new. I moved it into mad Max mode and then I see parking lot on the way to work so I’m kind of confused but I think it knows when I get to work that there’s a parking lot

The profiles work great when it knows the Speed Limit. In my neighborhood it thinks the limit is 30 when it's 20, most go 15. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use it in there.

I have noticed the sign recognition is much quicker/better in V14. There was a temp speed today of 45 in a 70 and it saw and reacted immediately.
Report the incorrect speed using the voice assist.
Settle down fanboy! :) This is a friendly forum, the user is just expressing a concern and hoping someone will put his mind at ease...
How is that unfriendly? Nor am I a fanboy.

Might be worth checking openstreetmaps and seeing if your local road is coded incorrectly. You can change it, if so. I've successfully corrected some wonkiness in my area, and am hoping to see them fixed in a nav updated at some point. Not sure how often Tesla sweeps the data in, though.
