I'm loving every minute of FSD 14.1.7!!! It feels so much more human like! Only one problem is it can't figure how to get in the parking lot of my store without assistance. Oh and ABSOLUTLY NO LEAF ISSUES!!!

Ye ha! I got it as my service visit ended! So good! Only one disconnect as it is a weird bit of road.

So many improvements with this update, BUT it's now recognizing the blue and yellow country road signs (CR-315) as STOP signs. It tried to stop at one this morning. Anyone else see this today or before?

Also loving every minute of it!! It is amazing pulling out of parking spaces and parking lots and actually pulled into my long driveway at home today which other versions had never done!!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I just came back from a ride and it was awful! Slammed on brakes 3 seperate occasions to the point where the tires squeeled. Got completely lost in a parking lot trying to park just kept shacking back and forth and told me to take over immediately. The last version I had was WAY smoother. Hopefully they work out the kinks. If you have falling leaves in your area I’d recommend bracing for impact because it will SLAM on the brakes if it sees a leaf fall infront of you.
Question: are all of your cameras clean, inside and out?

Updated this morning, but my Rear View Camera blacks out several times after the update, with the Self-Driving button disappearing. It came back each time 30 seconds or so later but it's scary when you rely mostly on the camera to see the back.

anyone else having the same problem?

My loaded this morning and wow....fantastic. It drove out of my car port, down our rough dirt road into town and parked, then drove home all perfectly (in the center of the lanes YEA and accurate left turns YEA), and all with NO control inputs. A big thank you to the Tesla engineers that made this happen

It is definitely way smoother overall, though you can notice it tends to think too quickly. Like if a car from a perpendicular lane comes into view it starts to brake stab a little bit.

Overall though I am very happy with what this FSD update has brought to the CT. Massive improvement.

I got it today and wow what an improvement. It now feels like proper Tesla FSD comparable with other models.

Few small issues that I noticed that I'm sure will be fixed soonish:
1. Navigation kept changing routes to the "preferred" automatic route instead of the option chosen route
2. Blinkers go on way too early--especially annoying when there's another road before the actual road I'm turning on.
3. Swerved for a big leaf
4. Still a little bit slow to slow down for adjusted speed limits (for example road near me slows from 45 to 35 and police like to sit shortly after it turns to 35...I am able to "fix" this by switching to Chill then back to Standard)

Overall, it is exceptional and a huge upgrade that makes me want to go on a road trip
Most of the time i prefer it drive above the speed limit, but i would like, ”Max speed“ button that immediately slows down the speed limit or even less. There is a construction zone that has speed cameras in my area, and it doesnt seem to care, also in neighborhoods and school zones i would prefer to got under the speed limit.

How do we give it input for hov and express lanes? We may or may not have 2/3 people or have a toll tag to pay for express or feel like paying to take it. I’m having to manually drive to make sure it doesn’t take the express lane.

I had it change lanes for a firetruck and police car in the lane I was in.

Got it today. Here's my initial thoughts.

It does generally act much smoother than previously. Drives more like a human in general, gets up and goes as soon as you hit the button.

* I've had it jerk multiple times. Leaving a parking lot. Deciding whether to go through or stop at a light that just turned yellow.
* Its also putting its blinker on but just never getting over.
* Still doesn't see school zones properly.
* Also thinks its cool to 45 in a 35.... (changing from hurry to standard sometimes calms it down but not always)

I'm really not liking the inability to set max speed. Had to play with that a lot in prior FSD versions. We should be able to create a graduating template:
25 - 30
35 - 40
45 - 52
55 - 65
65 - 75
75 - 80
80 - 80
