I am *thinking* of going 13.2.9 straight to 14.2 . Going to read some more reviews.Pardon the confusion, but are you folks going from 13 directly to 14.2.0? Or did you all already have 14.1.7?
I've had 14.1.7 and the release notes for 14.2 look identical to me...
Wow! I am on my Apple IIC and 1200 baud. Spent all my money on the truck!I can't afford the high end like yours, still using 14.400 K.
I have had FSD not being able to get speeds right for a long time (forever).I've had the same experience -- going 10 - 15 MPH *below* the speed limit on I-35E, going south out of Saint Paul, MN, not 'seeing' speed limit signs for several miles until it got one that said 70MPH. This was NOT an issue fwith 13.2.9 NOR 14.1.7, so I'm guessing it's a regression that will be fixed in an upcoming update. OTOH, 'speed control' has been my own biggest frustration with FSD since I've been using it on various Teslas over the last several years, so maybe this is simply a harder thing to get right than I think it should be. I do wish we had the scroll wheel over-ride option until it gets finally and thoroughly and permanently 'fixed.' I know this is a 'high class problem"/bone of contention, but it's especially frustrating when FSD does everything else so well!!!
It may be a 'mapping' issue where the CT is simply not getting reliable map data, since this version also missed an obvious exit it's not missed before. But it seems that Teslas are so good at sensing whether general traffic is slowed down (yellow and red navigation marking), it would seem that it could simply 'go with the flow' of traffic. I know it's different on roads with no traffic, but this was on a busy interstate with *everyone* passing me for about a four mile stretch. Yeah, I know about switching profiles, but going from Standard to Mad Max did NOT fix it, and it shouldn't be expected to. In this instance, it was borderline a safety issue.
Oh boy...Burn outs are all over long island, power braking for 300+ feet, donuts at stop signs and traffic lights.Any idea if it is going to stop swerving to avoid tire marks like they are objects in the road??
My truck has never pulled into my driveway, it wants to park on the other side of the street, in the street. However, it has trouble finding my house and pulling into driveway. I’ve had to disengage to get it go into my driveway.
What’s crazy, if you disable it, and then just select the spot it’ll back in correctly.I hope it fixes parking at a charger:
1) It is about a foot shy and needs to get closer - always
2) It picked a non-charging stall at Bossier City, LA...2x today
3) It parked diagonally across a larger spot at a charger today at Lindale, TX
You’re fast! I started with 300 baudWow! I am on my Apple IIC and 1200 baud. Spent all my money on the truck!
