Those are down guys that are keeping the CT up. Those down guys keep the poles from leaning due to the pulling force of the offset Overhead wires acting on the pole. Their max rating is around 10,000 lbs so i guess it makes sense that they could hold a CT up but its crazy to see how strong they really are.

If only the driver was in an F-150. The guy wire would have simply bent the frame and the truck would have still been drivable.
