Since the 14 FSD update, I’ve noticed the CT is fighting to stay centered in the lane, which makes the ride feel a bit dizzying and the steering keeps shifting / pulsing. I’ve also seen it brake suddenly like it spotted something in the road, which is pretty unnerving.

Maybe just get you a pair of these and don’t watch so it stops being so dizzying and anxiety provoking.😁

I am also seeing phantom braking during low-light conditions, but “emergency” braking. It is jarring to be travelling 65 MPH when the truck suddenly hard-brakes for no discernible reason.

Man… if you’d seen 10 or 11 you’d be laughing at this

I haven’t been watching closely, but I haven’t seen anyone else complain about the steering going back and forth, so I thought it was just me. Yeah me and everyone riding with me can clearly tell its shimmying back and forth in the lane like how people drive when they’re in the car in sitcoms. And yes it does seem to be in poor lighting or dirty lens situations. Its definitely an FSD 14 issue, never did it with 13 and was immediately noticeable after upgrading to 14. I haven’t made a thread about it bc I’m sure someone will just tell me I’m imagining it or to turn it off and turn it back on again or reinstall it or whatever.

That’s exactly what would happen.

mine did this with an early version of the FSD and now doing it with this one. I think I did a hard reset before but havent had a chance to play with it on this release.

no phantom braking but the back and forth hunting on the highway is BAD

I too, am having the same issues. As well as no control with fine tuning the FSD speed down to my comfort in inclement weather. We now only have a " MODE" for selection that we can no longer cuntrol.
Service told me not to use the FSD. WTF?
YOU PAY the additional amount for it and you're told not to use it????

I was telling the wife I was feeling an ever so slight like trembling as it was driving down the road.. Like a very slight back and forth steering . I think this is what you’re describing. It’s different than the blatant indecision when it can’t pick a lane as it’s rounding a corner. I also get some stabbing braking here and there… Most recently it ran into a bush as it came through our gate… I tested the approach again the next day and it was heading straight towards the bush before I took over… Problem is that because it’s at the end of the drive it doesn’t ask me why I took over so I can’t report the behavior.

So I , for one, don’t think you’re crazy. I will say that I’m using FSD more than ever and loving/trusting it more and more.

I’ve experience the majority of things mentioned in this thread. However, it’s almost perfect 99% of the time so I can deal with it. The biggest problem I’ve noticed in the last few days is on the highway. 10 times the speed limit was 75 but when it saw a 45 mile an hour minimum speed limit it starts slowing down. This never happened before 14 and I’ve driven 12,000 miles.

Same here. 65 on highway but FSD shows 45 and slows down missing others off.
