@That Beast Mode and I were just talking about that today. Might not even have to uninstall the light.

There is a little space there
The space is definitely there. Just a matter of making it clean and tap into power.

I still wish we had a built In air compressor and factory bed ramp in tailgate. But at least we got our truck. I feel bad for roadster “owners”

Power back there would be hella easy. That whole plastic triangle come off and that space is connected to behind the cantrails.
In my case I’d just bring power from the auxbeam attached to the frunk feed but you could also put a little buck converter and use the roof feed if you’re not occupying it with a lightbar

True the power feed for light rail is there. I forgot about that. Definitely something to consider.

Really nice thread seeing CyberGlow’s bar, but the warranty work is not confidence inspiring. 2800 total keeping my bar to swap back in case the bar fails would seem like the way to go. These things are about 1k over what I would expect.

What do you mean by the warranty work? I agree the price is quite high for what it is, but some of his peers are even more outrageous.
The SW nemesis v3 costs more than a urander rack. I doesn’t actually matter how many times he says the word Shaq in his marketing campaign.
This guy is at least trying to compete with Boring which are also outlandishly priced.
Have you wondered why you’re not seeing a bunch of these bars around?
Hint, it’s not because they aren’t plug and play enough or or because people have sworn undying loyalty to Tesla light shows , it’s because these guys feel their invested time is worth more than the down payment on a car.
No disrespect intended @CyberGlow

I should say warranty period. 1 year limited is wild for something this expensive.

Understood. Especially if the weather seal on the DRL is compromised. It would take a good long while for that damage to manifest itself.

Right, exactly. It seems water intrusion is covered for 3 though? Idk man, just make the warranty 3 years overall. Also, I get charge your worth. Time will tell if holding out pays out for lower cost options.

Also coupled with the time and R&D that went into making these. Sure once they can ramp up production cost can come down but the demand needs to be there. These aren’t mass produced and are a hands on effort to create.

@CyberGlow i have a request or a suggestion… since you have a YouTube channel unless you don’t wanna post it on there and it’s something you can just offer to this community, could you do a video showing the process of Intaking a light modifying it and packing it back up.

I more so just wanna know what’s being done to my oem DRL. Are factory leds removed and completely replaced? Are you leaving factory lights and just adding an additional led strip. And just the overall process and treatment of everything.

Another thing I see your on a v2 variant could you tell me what was changed from v1 to v2 ?

I’m gonna really consider your bar even though it’s still a bit pricey I do like the functionality. And of course make a video about it if I do choose to use yours.

@freyguy
Totally fair questions and I 100% get why you’d want to know what’s happening to your OEM DRL.

We can’t post a full step by step modification video showing the internal build process because that gets into proprietary details, but we can absolutely be transparent about what matters as an owner and what we do to protect your light.

What I can do for you/the community is share more detail on our process, including

• Intake and condition check when your DRL arrives

• How we protect and handle the housing while it’s in our shop

• Our sealing approach at a high level

• Full bench testing, function checks, and final QC

• Packing it back up and how we ship it out

On what’s being done, I can confirm this is not a quick “add a strip and send it” type of job. It’s an OEM style integration designed to look factory, stay sealed, and function correctly.

On V2, the biggest change from V1 to V2 is that V2 added the Tesla Light Show and factory animation compatibility. That was the big milestone. V2 also includes refinements around sealing, consistency and long term reliability, plus tighter QC.

Hey everyone 👋

Michael here. I’m the founder of CyberGlow and a fellow Cybertruck owner and lighting nerd.

We’re excited to officially join CybertruckOwnersClub as a site sponsor, so I wanted to properly introduce myself and what we’re building.

Why CyberGlow exists ⚡
Like a lot of you, I wanted to customize the Cybertruck without breaking what makes it special. Almost every aftermarket light option I saw either:

  • Killed Tesla Light Shows
  • Broke factory animations
  • Required splicing or sketchy wiring
  • Or just didn’t look OEM at all
So I built what I couldn’t find.

What we make
Our flagship product is CyberBeam, a front DRL light bar designed specifically for the Cybertruck.

The key difference:
👉 It’s the first and only RGBW Cybertruck light bar that fully retains Tesla’s OEM Light Shows and factory animations (lock, unlock, wake, etc.)

A few things the community usually asks
  • ✅ Plug-and-play (no cutting or splicing)
  • ✅ Retains OEM DRL behavior
  • ✅ Full RGBW customization when you want it
  • ✅ OEM-style fit and finish
  • ✅ Designed and assembled in the U.S.
This isn’t about flashy lighting for the sake of it. The goal was OEM-first, customization second.

Looking forward to being here
I’m not here just to sell. I genuinely want feedback from real Cybertruck owners and I’m always happy to answer technical questions about lighting, installs, or future ideas.

Thanks for having us, and I’m looking forward to being part of the community 🤝

If you see a Cybertruck glowing a little differently… it might be us 😎⚡
