Seems like Tesla is caving to more California and legal rules to change the names of the products in the vehicles that they offer.

The last FSD update had been hit and miss. It did a great job avoiding a pizza box on the highway, but turned into the neighbors driveway when coming home which was not the case before. So fingers crossed. šŸ¤ž

I’ll be curious about the ANC (road noise cancellation) feature. Given it will take a few updates to make it dead quiet, but still exciting!

Just got 2026.2.9.1 on my CT FS. No ANC setting under audio settings. I re-booted the CT as well. Still nothing.

Any one else Seeing or Not Seeing this on their Foundation series?

Just got 2026.2.9.1 I do not see it the ANC setting on my Foundation CyberBeast. It says that there needs to be a calibration. I'm curious if the calibration has to happen before the setting will show(I doubt that is the case.)

The one user who received it reported that the ANC enabled actually made road noise worse. Maybe Tesla removed it to work on it more?

I just got the update yesterday and it's there.

If it was worst the user can toggle it off.

I don't think you understood what I posted.

Sometimes Tesla removes things when they aren't right and sometimes they have groups they enable features to for testing.

The user said the sound was worse, so I said Tesla could have removed it, but since you have it...it seems more like Tesla is enabling it in select vehicles.

Edit: I have 2026.2.9 and it's not an option for me, either.

The explanation I saw, is that like most early ANC, when removing low frequency noise(Road/Tire), high frequency noise(Air/Wind) becomes more noticeable to human ears. So it's possible it just "sounds" worse. I had an early set of ANC head phones back in 2013, that would block the white noise they played over the speakers, but it allowed all the conversations to be heard super clear.

That’s interesting. Selective behavior.

I don’t even have anything about calibration either. Perhaps I should take it for a 10 min spin on backroads and highway.

perhaps it’s dependent on how many FSD disengage feedbacks u have given. 😁
