From a physics standpoint, makes sense. The natural frequency of the material can match with highway speeds. Adding weight would shift it.
Natural frequencies are wild, since you'll also have multiple for the same structure. Typically the first "mode" is the most impactful and it's the lowest numerically for Hertz. However you might end up hearing the others if they're in the audible range. The picture below shows the concept of modes but also how after the first one the frequency can skyrocket, well outside the audible range.

An important thing to keep in mind with natural frequency is the equation:

k is your stiffness and m is mass. The main thing that the butyl (or any sound similar sound dampening) does is to increase mass. This lowers the frequency, ideally down somewhere to where it blends in with the wind noise or is below the threshold for hearing (~20Hz).

This is an issue with all of my Cyberbeasts, 2024 FS and 2025. At freeway speed; my driver's side mirror would vibrate to a point of being useless, the mid-lower portion of the driver's door would be fluttering non stop. I first complaint about this back in May of 2024 with my first FS Cyberbeast and SC was unable to fix these problems. Hopefully with this SB, I can finally have resolution for all 3 Beasts. 🤞
@RayzorBEV , I know you don’t need suggestions for how to spend more money on this hobby but it just occurred to me that you could break apart a Cerberus logo in such a way that it would only be whole with all three of your beasts parked side by side.
just saying. Who else can do that?
Maybe on the tonneau slats? Or subtly tinted onto the glass roof?

Anyone have this complied with and can attest to the results?

I did, don’t know if they actually did everything that needed to be done from that bulletin, but now there is almost no vibration in the mirror and doors feels more solid.

Mirror delete and still have a slight door vibration at highway speeds and crosswinds.
This is called buffeting. Air passing over a surface, the door in this instance, is creating air turbulence, the opposite of laminar air flow making the door surface shake. The door fascia needs reinforcement basically.

I have a new CB, vin 80k and just noticed the shake and vibration at highway speeds. Trying to avoid SC visits as much as I can. Just scheduled service so hopefully they do a great job without any damage.

Just a heads up for all those FS owners who have this issue, this service bulletin WORKS! No more low frequency rumber at 60-75MPH speeds, there were sometimes where I thought the doors might shake off, I had it done to both drivers and pasenger front doors and they are very silent

They are replacing my passenger side front door on Friday. They previously replaced the mirror but a new rattle then appeared after. They claim the only other step they can take is a full placement. I have the door wrapped and of course they won’t reimburse me for that.

Had this done for all four of my doors. Made a difference, but wouldn't call it a complete success. Spent all day doing 85 West on 94 and my driver door and mirror still shake significantly. I was going against a 15mph head wind which is significant. I also heard later on this may have been my SC's first go around with this service bulletin, so perhaps my truck was the learning curve...

You had all 4 doors replaced and still have vibrations and noises?

Not replaced, fixed via service bulletin instructions. I.e. noise deadening and spray adhesive.

Got it! Yes it seemed to fix my mirror from shaking and the noise above 65 mph but now I have this low buzzing metal on metal sounding rattle that drives me crazy at all speeds.
