This 2020 Endless Highways Performance Edition is for the traveler who wants it all. The Bowlus Road Chief company is known for being an industry leader, using the most advanced technology. This trailer will serve you well, whether you utilize RV parks or go off-grid. The lightweight and aerodynamic design assures maximum range, whether you are towing with a conventional vehicle or an electric vehicle. The exterior is made from high strength aircraft quality aluminum and aircraft grade rivets and is completely sealed: no pesky chewing rodents can get in and ruin your fun! Exterior height is 8’6”. Total length is 25’9”, short enough to fit in most National Parks, which often have a length restriction of 26’. Width is 80”.

The Performance Edition was designed to maximize your off-grid adventures, doubling the battery capacity over the standard Endless Highways model of the time, with a larger inverter (3000W), allowing up to 2 weeks living off-grid. In addition, an external 110V and propane outlet was added, and 2 main cabin skylights (with wood covers) were installed for natural daylight in the living area. It is wired for 120 W solar.

The inside is beautifully designed, with a neutral Windswept Sand color scheme. The seats are very comfortable and room to seat 5 or dine 4. Along the bottom of the seats are deep, self-locking drawers for plenty of storage space. LED lights are thoughtfully placed and 5 silent gravity vents in the ceiling provide good ventilation. The kitchen has a modern propane 2-burner cooktop, 700 W microwave oven (can run on battery power), and sink with ample counter space for preparing meals. The incredibly efficient 3.1 cubic foot 12V refrigerator/freezer is under the cooktop counter.

The shower stall is a separate compartment from the toilet in the Endless Highways. Plenty of space, with a raised teak floor and seat. There is even a pass-through to the outside if you wish to rinse off those sandy feet outdoors. The toilet is an easy emptying cassette and signature ventilation system with 4.5 gallon capacity. No worries about eventual build up of odors in a black water system. 2 long closets are on either side for hanging and shoe storage. The shower door doubles as a door to close off the living room, the solid wood toilet door doubles to close off the bedroom.

Through the bathroom, the bedroom has 2 twin beds with high quality mattresses with memory foal top layer. Libeco linens come with the beds. A 2-speed fan at the foot of the beds and 2 windows that open (plus 2 that do not) provide additional ventilation. Linen drapes and wood inserts for the windows provide bedroom privacy. To sleep 4, the sofa converts to a 3rd bed and the armchairs convert to a 4th bed.

Additional features: Dry weight is 3200 lbs, GVWR is 4000 lbs. Carrying capacity, 700 lbs. Hitch is 200 lbs on a jockey wheel with an integrated scale. An included awning (never used) made of lightweight Sunbrella fabric can be attached to either side. 4 stabilizer jacks keep you steady when parked. Brakes function with a electric RF (remote frequency) controller.

Heating/AC: The heating system operates off of either 120V or LPG. Heated floors and eight silent radiators are located throughout the unit for evenly distributed heat. The heater boiler system has an integrated freshwater heating system which heats a small tank to a very hot temperature: in 20 minutes you are ready for a hot shower off-grid. The boiler is 25,000 BTU with programmable features. The A/C is not on the roof so as not to disrupt aerodynamics but is contained within the shell with a separate air intake and outtake hose, making it extremely efficient. It can run 8 to 32 hours off the battery.

Connectivity:

The cellular booster allows you to boost your signal on your cell phone by about two bars.
The mobile router allows you to insert a data only SIM card from your cellular provider and use it to surf the internet or stream videos. It also allows you to piggyback off of wifi networks.
You can remotely check on your trailers battery levels via Bluetooth on your phone or tablet.

In conclusion, this trailer has more features than I can list here. It is very well thought out and comfortable, a true gem.

I just came to the expensive conclusion that trailering is not for me...
Well. I genuinely hope you get your investment back. Don’t know much about how these kinds of things hold up value-wise, but at that price point, I’m concerned you’re going to take a pretty good hit.
If for whatever reason you end up thinking out of the box on this to recoup expenses and rent it or something like that, please consider advertising here.
I know I’d love to try take my family out in something like that. Love that we could put it on the back of our x too it looks like.
It looks well suited for a Cybertruck though and there are a fair number of us here in Arizona so maybe you could find some responsible renters?
I may be showing my inexperience here and it may be a great price that people are beating down your door for.

I know I will lose a lot on this. Bowlus trailers apparently keep their value well compared to other trailers (AI). But that doesn't mean they sell for full price. Yeah, not really interested in renting it out (already had one friend ask me about that...). I just want some cash back so I can turn around and buy that pop up. In talking with them, I found out it is the same family that originally made the 4-wheel popup campers. When I watched Eddie's video, I thought it looked strangely like a 4-wheel popup (I used to have one on a Toyota Tundra). Now I know why! Loaded with water and misc., this trailer is about at the limit of my Model X towing capability, which is rated at 5000 lbs. However it towed it effortlessly. The problem I ran into is, Tesla changed the 7-pin somehow and it went into turtle mode. Odd that it did not do that the first time we took it out on its trial run. And we got all the way to south of San Antonio, Texas before it happened. I never did figure out the ins and outs of it all, but since Tesla would not do anything non-stock, they sent me to another place that ran a separate wire that supposedly solved the problem. I never took it out again so I can only confirm the errors did not occur while parked.

Well I hope you get that popup you want. It looks way cool. Self contained without towing is a huge plus. Again, beautiful trailer and hope you get a solid deal.

Nice rig! Nice to be able to drop and tour w/just car. What is your lifetime wh/mi? what is avg wh/mi when towing? worst (uphill vs. wind)?

I never kept a lifetime Wh/mi. We only made two trips with this trailer (long story), here are some notes I made from the trip from Tucson to the lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas in January of 2021: (sorry I copied and pasted from an Excel file, it didn't copy well but I don't have time to do more)
TeslaFi Summaries:
1/10 339.7 miles driven, 682 rated miles; 49.8% ave. efficiency; 5 hr 42 min drive time, 3 hr 33 min SC charging time; Wh/mi 675 Wh
1/11 543 miles driven, 1011.4 rated miles; 53.7 ave. efficiency; 9 hr 3 min drive time, 6 hr 11 min SC charging time; Wh/mi 620 Wh
1/26643.8 miles driven, 1221 rated miles; 52.7 ave. efficiency; 10 hr 46 min drive time, 4 hr 23 min SC charging time; Wh/mi 628 Wh
1/27409.3 miles driven, 677.8 rated miles; 60.4 ave. efficiency; 7 hr 9 min drive time, 2 hr 38 min SC charging time; Wh/mi 550 Wh

Those towing numbers seem respectable depending on baseline. If the Avg. Energy for Trips A & B on your Trips screen show several thousand miles, that's a good indicator of baseline/lifetime wh/mi.
