After going all winter with getting air in the rear windows on the cybertruck, I finally spent some time and figured out how to fix it and wanted to share my findings with everyone!

Good to know that it's a fixable diy issue. Did you only add the pieces of tape or did you have to make other adjustments behind the camera pillar?

appreciate the information. My truck problem with wind noise started after the Cantrail replacement . Especially in cold weather . Looks like another trip to the service centre .

so is everyone’s windows flush? Seems like mine bulge out at the bottom. The front windows budge out too in the front and don’t sit flush with the dash windows.

These videos are awesome. Thanks, for sharing!

Good to know this is the procedure for service centers to actually fix this issue (instead of what they did last year, which was to stuff a styrofoam rod in the rubber door frame gasket).

Will add this next time I have to go to service.

Do you happen to know the official name of the part you say is ~$10.00 that breaks all the time? Is it the "BED SIDE BAFFLE APPLIQUE"?

Some centers are still just doing the foam, not sure why

Mine bulged out like yours instead of sitting flat/flush and experienced SIGNIFICANT wind noise issues from the front and rear windows. At times it was QUIETER to OPEN THE WINDOW (I don't mean slightly like that one "fix" mentioned on the forum. I mean it was quieter to have the window opened a few inches on the highway.

Tesla had mine in at least 4 or 5 times for this issue and was never able to fix it despite multiple glass and seal adjustments.

Getting them to buy it back was how I fixed my wind noise issue.

I wonder if they are purposefully defective.

All of mine are bulged too... front and back, both sides.

My 2025 CB (came with cantrail fixed) definitely has a lot more wind noise than my 2024 did (never had cantrail fix).

What I find interesting is that before I ever messed with my 2025, for the most-part, the seal was sealing pretty well. There was only one small spot where I had a gap large enough to slide a dollar bill through.

I added some small hose behind the seals to push them out more, but it only helped a little.

What I find interesting is that in the OP's video, when he lowered the window slightly, it became flush. None of my windows do that at all. They remain bulged the same amount regardless of position. This probably explains why lowering the window a small amount never reduced the wind noise.

I wonder if Tesla was PURPOSELY adjusting the windows to be bulged out to reduce strain on the window being fully closed (caused by the post-fix cantrail spacers). That would explain why some service centers still want to just add foam. If a tech walks out on their sales lot and notices every single CT has that same gap on every window, they would logically figure it as spec.

I HATE the wind noise, but adjusting all 4 windows and ripping off both the cantrails seems like a pretty big job.

You are not the only one, none of my windows sit flush with the center applique,
