I live by the beach and am out there with the truck several days a week. I just had the TerrestrIal Armor package installed partly in the hope of closing up some of the gaps that were allowing sand to get inside the OEM rocker panels. There are still some pretty big gaps especially near the front, e.g. right behind the front tires. I’m thinking about using some silicone sealant at least at the very front, but want to be careful not to trap water inside. Has anybody else thought about or dealt with this problem?

Additional weather stripping is what off road van lifers use. No need to order expensive seals. If it’s a concern, I’d buy general vehicle weather stripping that you can cut to desired lengths.

I laughed out loud before I even opened this post. Glad you got some useful information before the wisecracks started coming in. 😂
I’ve been a boxer man for too long now, not sure I could ever go back 😂
