I had an absolutely amazing experience today. I called my local tire company and ask them if they rotated tires on Tesla cyber truck. She said that they had never done one, but I could stop by and they would take a look at it. When I showed up, there were four guys with four jacks. They looked under the CT and immediately found the stamped metal area that said it was a jack point they had it jacked up in five minutes, and the tires rotated in five minutes for a total of 10 minutes. I asked the lady how much I owed her and she said "you're one of our customers aren't you" and I said "yes, I buy all my tires here". She said the rotation was free!! That was the best, fastest rotation I've ever seen.

It sounds like using four jacks, one on each corner, might have been adequate protection for not knowing the truck has a Jack Mode.

If taking your Cybertruck to a shop unfamiliar with the vehicle, remember to tell them about Jack Mode in the Service Menu (to prevent the auto-leveling from doing something unwanted).

I was at Tesla service few months ago and requested tire change along with the wing panel recall. I was told it was wearing even and didn’t require a rotation at this time. I had about 15k and never had a tire rotation.

yes, can happen
we have 4 wheel steering, the rears could be wearing the similar amount to the fronts
with 2 wheel steering, only the fronts wear faster, hence the reason or the rotation
4 wheel steering, no need to rotate is being debated here

I get about 40k miles on my beast rocking stock AT. It’s not too horrible. I randomly rotate but always late like 10k miles or so. My first set I didn’t rotate at all, 20k miles and the fronts was down to the replace bars, rotated them and did the same again, but now I replace them early / on time (not bald racing slicks) bc I don’t want a mishap hydroskipping or something.

Every c at i have owned has different size tires and rims on front and back so n it able to rotate and have not noticed any wear difference. Just make sure balancing and alignment is correct.

The hardest part was working out a way to get them back on.
I lift using my calves. I roll the tire into proper position with the bolts aligned. Then I squat with my knees against the sidewall of the tire. Then I grab the spokes on the wheel with my hands with my arms braced on the tops of my legs close to the knees. I then lift with my calves extending my feet. If I can lift a 385/60R22.5 tire and steel wheel on that way, you can lift a CT tire+wheel on.

I just sit on the ground facing the tire and put a toe under the front and rear and lift it in place with them. Leaves me eye-to-eye with the lugs so I can align them. I hold it steady with a hand and just move my feet around to align the holes. I can even rotate it with the toes.

It's much more back friendly this way. I taught my daughters to change tires the same way because they may not be able to manhandle the tire onto the car and this ensures they can do it.

I also show them how to loosen the lugs using straight arms and just shoulders and twisting. A thing I learned long ago torquing B-52 pylon aft attach points to 1,800 lb ft. Even much bigger guys would struggle and then watch confused as I torqued away with what seemed like little effort. LOL... Things we remember
