So i've got a Starlink mini I am trying to figure out how/where to mount. I tried some cheap suction cupped brackets on the interior roof glass, but the first hot day and it just crapped out and fell onto the rear seat. Looking for ideas on where to put it. Would another, more expensive option work on the roof glass inside? What about outside? Kind of like my dash clean, but I've seen cases to make it look better. Just looking for some genuine user feedback and experiences.
I bought the one shown below. It did fall once. However, I saw where it was recommended that you should wipe the inside of the roof glass and the suction cups with Isopropyl Alcohol prior to installing. So far, it has not fallen. I have the roof netting that came with my Foundation Series AWD. I run the cable from the back of the mini antenna to the back of the roof netting, down behind the back seat, under the floor, and plug into the 110AC outlet in the back of the front center console. From the outside, you can’t tell there is a StarLink antenna in the car.

FYI to all: I was charging my starlink with my center console usb’s and it was sitting on my center console - receiving a signal just fine.

Good day y'all. I'm currently visiting Disneyland and came across this very expensive Mercedes camper van from Chihuahua, Mexico, at the hotel parking lot. And that looks like a Starlink mounted on the front windshield with suction cups 🤓

Thanks everyone for you input and ideas. Ended up finding a 3D print online that I went with. I had to modify it a bit by adding length to top otherwise it was too short to mount the mini. Original designer i think went with regular ASA but I ended up using ASA-CF (carbon fiber). I made the walls a bit thicker as well and increased the infill.

Could you share the file for the Starlink Mini? I tried printing a few versions, but they didn't fit the device; I'm using a Bambu P2S.
I just uploaded it to Makerworld, but the changes are under review. Here is the link to the original. If you want the updated profile with mods, you'll have to wait until Makerworld approves it or you can send me a DM with your email and I'll send the .3MF file that way. The original print was too short and would not work. I ended up remaking and modifying it from my original post here, too. Increased infill to 75%, added more wall loops, more walls, and other small changes as suggested by Grok. Definitely less flex and is extremely sturdy.

Edit: New profile was approved so you should be able to download it directly. It is the one with ASA-CF in the title.
