Went by the fort worth sc tonight, they had 2 Sawds and 1 Pawd. 1 sawd had 20's. I thought the combination of 18's+AS tires might look weak but the exact opposite is true. The 18's look beefier and meaner than the core 20's

Now that is one awesome midnight haul. Thank you for getting these for the $59K family!!!!

No rear armrest (cupholders)

All joking aside. It was a rediculous cost cutting measure when the Model 3 & Y have a rear armrest and cupholders. Pulling out my old man card, as a teenager in the '80s, this is what I remember from cupholders:

We had zero from the factory but I'll be damned if we didn't have 3 ashtrays!


Since I've always had a "no open containers" policy in my vechicles, the rear doors will suffice to stash passenger water bottles. There's nothing missing on the fire sale SAWD that will make me miss out on a $10k discount.

I just realized I don’t think there are coat hooks in the backseat area by the light. Really making me second guess this purchase. Think I’ll step up to the Premium AWD for $20k.

Awesome. I’m sure aftermarket will make some cupholder inserts if you want. You either saved me 20K or cost me 60K. I’m not sure which one yet.

Audio quality, of any system, is hard to convey through a video but how was your overall impression of the audio system? Was it good, just OK, crappy.... and in comparison to what? With only 7-speakers, do you remember if the rear doors had working speakers?

I saw ride height in the screen but it was greyed out . So I guess only one height which makes sense .

I felt like it’s 70% of what the regular cybertruck has and way better than any other car’s factory sound system. I have a little longer video but looks like I can’t upload it here.

Audio can improve in aftermarket, someone should make a nice kit. Replacing the speakers and adding a Sub with amp will be something I will likely do. The wheels I actually do not mind at all I still have to see them in person, but I prefer 18" with the extra sidewall. Interior looks fine I might get seat covers, but will wait until someone makes the back bench cover without the flip down arm-rest. The truck looks really good!!!! Looking forward to seeing some of actually taking delivery!!!

Tesla Pleasant Grove, Utah this morning. Wheel setup looks so good IMO. Think 18’s were what the truck had needed the whole time. Panel gaps looked great but for 1 spot on frunk. Looked to be about the 10 inch clearance advertised.
