Cyberbeast Owner Poll - How Loud Is It?

I have had my Beast for a few weeks and the one thing that still shocks me every time I drive is how loud the motors are. When accelerating, especially in Beast mode, these things really scream. Most surprisingly is that when I decelerate, they seem to be nearly as loud. I've seen reviews online about how quiet the CT is, Out or Spec mentions the quietness of their Beast for example. Personally, it's the loudest EV I've ever been in and it seems noticably so. Road noise isn't too bad, but motor noise is significant. Since I don't have an opportunity to try another Beast, I'm wondering if mine has an issue? Love to hear everyone's feedback.

Please Beast owners only. In comfort mode I notice the motor noise goes down a bit, so I don't think an AWD CT is comparable for the purpose of this poll.

I don't hate the noise, especially when I want to drive fast and it feels appropriate. When it is less enjoyable is when I'm making slight speed adjustments while cruising. Give me the spaceship noise at full acceleration, it is great! But I do not really need it going from 65mph to 68mph.

First EV but I went from a 2020 R8 with a Ryft exhaust... So I consider my beast quiet. Its like a mild hellcat sound. Very enjoyable sound to me.

if tires, Are any of the complaints coming from those with the Pirelli ATR tires?

The sound is great, it’s not loud but it’s definitely audible. My first EV. So I don’t have anything to compare it to except loud ICE vehicles. Compared to performance exhaust it’s pretty quiet.

The noise I hear is the motors. It's enough louder than the road noise, that it makes the road noise seen quiet. AT tires on mine.

When I am just driving around the Beast is pretty quiet, quieter than my 2018 Model 3 Performance for sure. When I'm hard on the accelerator or making a fast stop with high regen then yes I hear some whine from the motors but I think that's to be expected. If you think yours is too loud then see if you can drive another and compare.

Unfortunately, I also find the beast to be EXTREMELY LOUD! The whine that the motors give off between 65-80 mph cruise make my head hurt after 10 min. It's not going to be a good road trip vehicle for me, unless maybe I wear noise canceling ear buds. :-( For reference though, my ears are sensitive. My old 2013 Model S is much quieter at freeway speeds, which says a lot. At lower speeds I don't mind the sound as much.

Seems odd. Its a faint whine IMO

I personally love the motor noise. Just enough noise to mask other annoying things. The vehicle without the motor noise is quieter than my Model X
