Did the numbers, mapping and there are swats of areas in Northeast Nevada, Idaho, Montana and Canada where chargers are more than my comfort zone of range pulling the RV. Based on my test pulling the RV, this zone max out about 165 miles on 100% charge.

I can did the non direct populous routes but timetable on coming back became an issue even if I can concede a 400 mile longer travel via I-80 and I-5.

Tesla web trip route is slightly helpful but sucks overall. It does not even have a Cybertruck as a choice in the drop down.

Have you tried it using the in Truck navigation app? That's my go to for planning.

You'll be a happy camper (literally) once the range extender pack comes out. That should put you over 200 miles of range while towing.
That would now be under consideration since my use case is actually pulling RV to those remote national parks.

On second thought, I wasn't trying to compensate for a trailer, so it may not work as well for your situation.
Unless you put in the trip and start driving with the trailer connected to force it to recalculate. Maybe?
Browsed quickly, nothing I see to be EV truck-trailer specific.

Someone here post that CT will recalibrate range projection based on latest performance.

But I want to do route planning before I even go out of the garage with CT calculating range based on RV configuration (I don't know how, lol), weigth, road inclines, etc.

Yeah, ABRP is probably the best tool for that. In vehicle nav is better than the app for planning, but doesn't have many knobs to tweak.

Could a Honda gas powered generator provide charging in certain areas?

That would take forever.

There are actually chargers in between.

But a CT pulling an RV, it should be 150 miles in between giving enough allowance for my calculations of an average 165 miles range on 100% charge.

I was just thinking of something if you are in a pinch. For 5 years I charged my Model 3 on a 110v outlet like a cel phone. It charges at 5/mi per hour. So 50 miles overnight (13,300 miles per year). Today I've finally upgraded to a 240 outlet.

For benchmarking, I would be looking for something that will charge 20 miles in a 30 minutes of bathroom break. :D

Weight is a factor. CT range extender is up for consideration after this sad results in route planning.

If we're talking 180 mile range, 20 miles is 14 kWh (one Powerwall) at an output rate of 28 kW or 120A@240V (3 Powerwalls).
I don't see anything but range extender fitting into that criteria.

It should add 130 miles.

Getting 60 miles more pulling an RV is doable reaching and crossing those empty remote territories.
