I have only charged on SC for free with my MS. Fix my math if I goofed, but if you got 30mpg on gas and paid 3.50 per gallon, the EV costed more to charge? I pick up my CT today and home charging is obviously cheaper but is my math right on charging on the road?
Which pickup truck or big SUV gives 30mpg? Let's move to the most important factor, How many times do we use superchargers in a year, unless its free?

My Ram ecodiesel gets 27 hwy, but that is tuned. You are right, no comparably sized vehicle does 30 mpg, I was thinking of my MS. I have never paid for SC but it makes sense that convenience isn't free and travelers pay more.

owning/driving EV-specially Tesla is much more than the cost of charging and now Cybertruck driving experience is raising it to supreme level.

I reside on Florida’s Space Coast. Ten days after taking possession of the CT my family and I decided to take a trip to Washington, DC. Given the length of the trip we stopped in Fayetteville, NC to overnight in a hotel. The ride there was smooth with 4 stops to charge. The attention the truck got was incredible with people driving next to us filming and taking pix, waving, giving us thumbs up, etc. We only spotted one other CT in Jacksonville (pic) and none all the way to DC. That would probably explain why every time we stopped we were approached by someone who had questions and/or wanted to take pix. Once in DC the people’s excitement continued. It was pure insanity. Even though we drove a lot around Washington we only saw 2 other ones.

On the way back we opted to not stop anywhere except for charging. The 15.5hrs ride was long but extremely comfortable. The kids were in the back listening to music and watching movies, so they had a blast and the adults took turns driving. At no point did we have any issues with the truck whatsoever, including driving through heavy rain with the wiper going at full speed.

In total we spent about $260 for charging for the entire trip. I do not drive conservatively by any means which is clearly reflected in the stats I attached. We also had 5 suitcases in the back.

There is really not one negative thing I could say about the entire experience. We had the best time. Usually people look forward to arriving at their destination, for us even the drive was an absolute treat.

One thing I've been noticing is that a lot of people are hesitant to pull up all the way at stops lol Anyone else experience this?

Beautiful truck, thanks for sharing. I live on the space coast, too. Impatiently awaiting my fall beast delivery.

Steer by wire is effortless, or it's stressful? Considering I've been driving a truck (Ford Expedition) for 17 years, and with two steering rigs, I can't wait for SBW, and FSD! I report no problems staying between the lines until they installed a crappy non-oem rack... which takes a little more attention at 85 mph... My CT reserv comes up next year. But the price has got to come down...

Also was your tonneau water tight?
It was! We drove through heavy rain for an extended period and there was no evidence of any water infiltration

Are you talking about all the pickups whose rear end sticks out halfway in the road and still has 3 feet to the line?

Lol All kinds of folks. I can see a 1-2 car gap on my side when someone pulls up to a stop next to me. Some I figure are looking at the truck but others it almost seems like they're afraid to be evenly next to you.
