I’m Lynnwood also. Got the vin Friday afternoon Texted them Saturday and the truck is here ready for pickup tomorrow. I hope it wasn’t rejected by someone in the area. 19xxx vin.
You could ask but I would not worry about it. Doesn’t mean car has an issue. Maybe wife objected, or buyer saw final price out the door of $135K and realized it was too much. Or decided to wait for different interior color or trim non foundation or AWD. And you also have a long warranty if something needs to be addressed
If you figure this forum is 10% of the CT buyer population, well, we’ve seen a handful of posts of people not going through with their purchase and trying to figure out how to get their $1000 non-refundable deposit back, so there’s a good chance that some of these quick VIN to delivery offers are due to a purchase falling through and not truly a rejected due to a fault
I'll be picking up in Portland, OR soon and my VIN is 186XX. I was curious about it being rejected so I reached out to the SC in Tigard and they told me that the individual before me couldn't take delivery due to being out of the country so I was next in line. They said my truck was built 06/2024. I'll be taking delivery on August 4th. I'm thinking that the delivery centers with less volume are slower in getting the trucks to us from production in TX so VINs are a little lower than what most people on the forum are receiving.
