We’ve known about the issues with the wiper motor and the sail appliqué but these are the first official notices I received today from Tesla on the recalls. Did you all receive something similar?

Yeah, same here. Got 2 mail today. I am kind of reluctant to get it replace/repaired since mine working perfectly fine now. I am afraid they would break other stuff while replacing/repairing these two perfectly working components. what you guys say?

What are you guys VINs?

These should have been fixed at some point, they’re just starting to notify everyone affected.

I haven’t received anything (yet?) but I’m VIN 21xxx

Got my letters a couple of days ago (113xx).

I had my wiper motor/appliqués replaced on 7/13 (pre-letter) and again today 08/24 (post-letter).

The wiper motor part number was the same today as 07/13, but the appliqués had a revised number from the 07/13 replacements.

The entire service took about an hour while I waited (8am to 9am). West Covina SC was awesome as usual.

If they are asking I think you should go and do it ! If something happens hopefully not they are going to say they told you to do it !

I got the one about the sail applique - I had already both sides replaced due to some faulty part. I had the motor for the wiper replace but no letter.

I agree that it is a bit risky- I have had that happen and it was very expensive to fix. I am going to wait until something breaks.

I haven't received anything but these recalls were in place before I took delivery June 22nd. I asked the rep if the work was already done and he said it was. But this is the same rep that provided zero orientation at delivery so I assume he was in a hurry to do something else.

Got both yesterday, VIN 1000. Plan on waiting until it goes in for something else, or they offer Mobile Service. I'd happily take it to a SC, but none of the ones near me have every been able to offer a while-you-wait option, and the faff getting an Uber, or occasionally a loaner, isn't worth the effort since everything currently works and seems secure.

Also go letters today. 13900 range VIN but all works fine so haven't done anything yet. Tesla service is a few hours round trip and they usually take 2 steps forward and 1 back in past breaking something new.

I got these same ones on Thu, I had a appt at the SC on Sat, so sent them the notices and they added to the service request. Let's see when I get my vehicle back.

Wise move. Each time I have taken my Tesla in for say 3 issues, I always come back with one new one. Tesla service is a mess and has been for a long time.

I checked Tesla website about one month ago and found these two recalls for my CT. I made an appointment, but was told no active recall for my CT. Guess no part available locally, yet.
