Almost exactly what we’ve been guessing.

Foundation was basically a nominal $5k “get it early” fee on an apples to apples basis. Really glad I got it early.

At the same time also very fair for people looking to spend $80k on a base package. I think this will be a big seller.

And yet now…. We had the FS skippers club… now it will be there tax credit waiters club.

Absolutely worth waiting for those that can’t stand self driving. I had the trial on my S and Y I had to turn self driving off it was so frustrating. Reading speed limits wrong, slowing down when I didn’t want too, changing lanes when I didn’t want too. It was horrific, my wife said the same thing. Based on this forum most prefer gray interior, myself included. I’m not paying $3500 for Tesla wheels either I can get much nicer aftermarket for a little more. Foundation folks got a great truck and shouldn’t be upset, but on the flip side it was worth waiting for many.

I cancelled my reservations I’ll wait until next year pay off my S longer too.

Yes. I’m glad I was fortunate to get a FS. People that have the patience to wait for what they want. I can respect that. It’s all expensive.
Waiting on a Government Handout. I don’t respect. If it’s available then Take the Credit if not. Just Buy the Truck. On your Death bed. You won’t be worried about $7500.

It seems like PowerShare is an included feature. To me this is a very important “insurance policy” against unexpected grid failure. I was thinking it would be an add on software feature, like FSD.
Am I understanding this correctly?

I'm pretty sure they'll get through the list in just a couple months.

Remember, the price is still 60% more than the reveal night. And it's still more than 30% more than the average new truck.

There's going to be alot of people like me knocked out by that little boost - or by some other happenstance.

-Crissa
That's pretty optimistic.

2 million people pre-ordered the Cybertruck
- Roughly 50,000 people jumped the line by buying FS
- Tesla's goal is to make up to 200,000 units a year
- Even if 400,000 people opt out completely
- Even if 250,000 people wait for the single motor version...

That still leaves the queue at 1.3 million vehicles. I'm sure before Tesla makes the most basic version, they will try to get approval to sell AWD and Beast versions in other countries too.

Maybe Tesla doubles their production next year to 100,000 and 150,000 the year after...

...It'll still gonna be a few years until all of those pre-orders get fulfilled.

This is exactly what we were expecting. So pleased I waited. Not everyone can afford nor wants one with the lot. I'm expecting the full $7500 tax credit, but it is strange that it was not confirmed.
To qualify for the credit, Tesla needs to transition off of the imported Chinese cathodes used in the 4680 cells. Either via DBE or using Panasonic cells.
In 2025, the restriction on Chinese minerals kicks it.

Truck supports Powershare by default, but you need house side equipment to take full advantage (11.5 kW vs 9.6 kW from 14-50 outlet). Either Powershare Gateway + UWC or Wall Connector and Powerwalls (plus future software update).

That's really soon. So no tax credit next year then unless they change it?

I'm Confused. I got an email notification from The Forum but when I check the app or login on my laptop it still only shows the Foundation Series as available to order. I don't see anywhere that I can order a Non-Foundation CT yet.

Probably going by RNs. What is your RN number? When did you reserve?

The forum just wants you to participate in this discussion for ad revenue. It can't help you get it faster.
