No email yet for me … are NON FS Cyberbeasts available?
Timing sucks for us, we literally just bought a brand new home and doing a massive home renovation ?. Will likely have to wait till January 2025 ?. Congrats to everyone finally getting it!!

I also glad I got the FS……I’m not jealous and my value isn’t going to tank as I know people will pay premium for etched FS/CB logo

Yeah...
My decision tree was: Foundation Beast now or AWD (+ tax credit?) later. Beast now was the only sure thing.
There are only 3 months until more credit rules kick in, and I doubt Tesla will give any guidance beyond a statement when/if they start qualifying. Tight needle to thread in terms of manufacturing requirements and delivery deadline. If they can source non-excluded minerals then AWD with credit in 2025 is possible.
Great choice. Not being able to qualify for tax credit made it an easier decision for me

It's petty close to where I feel better about getting the Foundation series.

The people who hurt themselves it seems is if you got the Foundation series and opted for the...

-Core All Season Tire/wheel (-3,500)
-Tactical Grey (-2,000)

That caused them to miss out on $5,500 of "free" upgrades.

I had a feeling when they offered the Core wheels and the Tactical grey that those would be the lesser options.
I wanted the grey interior, so I'm not hurt.

I see an awful lot of posts and comments from people who are obviously very emotional and excited. Do we have any real objective evidence as to whether or not this non-FS CT will be eligible for the $7,500 tax credit? I saw a suggestion on this thread that maybe if you order only the core wheels and tactical grey interior that you can get the price low enough for the tax credit, but is that just speculation or do we know that for sure?

The reason I'm asking is that I have a delivery appointment tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Pacific standard Time for a Foundation Series, and this just throws a whole new monkey wrench into my plans. I was at the bank tonight until 5:25 p.m. getting my loan secured.

?
When I was test driving the Cybertruck last month I spoke to a Tesla employee and he said that more than likely the non-FS AWD Cybertruck would NOT be eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit. So I wouldn’t be too optimistic.

@DrShah, it’s a good thing. Waiting 3 more months will guarantee you a 2025 model and maybe the new and improved dry cathode battery cells.

You are delusional if you think people are paying a premium for badging.

I say this as a cybertruck owner since Feb and wrapped it in the first month.

Hey Carissa, after seeing tons of postings from you on this Cybertruck order & reservations thread, as well many others.. I was under the impression this entire time you were of two camps, an original reservist for the Cybertruck and now a current owner and experiencer.
However based on recent posts, I am maybe incorrectly realizing that you may not currently own a Cybertruck am I just incorrect. If so, are you still planning to buy a Cybertruck and still have a reservation? And If so what is your target price for pulling the trigger especially now with non FS orders available and do you plan to finance, trade, lease, or buy outright etc. ?
It seems you are very interested in Cybertruck and was not sure if you are currently driving an EV or Tesla as well or just plan to have the Cybertruck as a main driver.
Carissa does not have a cybertruck nor does she have one on order. Lots of us have her on ignore for rampant ignorant posting.

Okay so if I order a AWD right now and in a few days dedicate to change my mind and make it a CyberBeast I can do so without losing the order?
when my reservation turned to an order, I received a Vin number once a Vin number is assigned that your vehicle I could change anything I wanted between the reservation and the actual order with no problem, but it’s not your truck until you have a Vin number. I think it was three years ago when I ordered the two motor truck and living in Miami you just can’t drive fast and I’ve had this truck for a month and a half maybe and drive it across the Everglades 100 miles a couple of times a week in the middle of the night and I can tell you That I had range anxiety new vehicle anxiety everything but none of it came to pass. I love this truck. What will happen when your relatives drive it is you’ll never get it back. I was waiting for the federal tax credit and then just gave up when I found out when you added stuff to the base model, you were already over that number , I don’t see the price of this vehicle coming down anymore because the competition is very expensive. Also that’s just the new reality. The only thing that seems different for me is the insurance is probably 30% more on this vehicle for me. I have vehicles that cost the exact same amount as this truck and my insurance is 30% less that’s the only thing I can see about cost of ownership so far, however charging at home is a game changer for me. It is $.14 a kilowatt in Miami and that has been translating to nine cents a mile where my other vehicles cost an average of $.19 a mile for fuel cost. I don’t think you save money in the long run, but this is my first electric car and I was against electric cars Now I’m hooked and I really like this truck but I would not make an economic decision that put me in jeopardy so make sure when you bring in the cost of your new vehicle think about the cost of the insurance in your area I’m not sure what it is parts of the country but in Miami it’s extremely expensive Which model you get you’re going to love it but I would recommend the rubber floor mats because they fit the truck perfect and they’re so easy to clean out

Got my invite like many. Going to wait until the $7500 Federal Tax Credit is verified. And will keep the order under $80K. No mention of the $7500 tax credit in the invitation configuration; raises red flag for me. Have been waiting since reveal, so I can be patient.

Works out to $3,125 savings if you wanted everything the Foundation Series delivered.

Cyber Wheels w/ All-Terrain Tires$3,500.00
White Décor$2,000.00
Mobile Connector$250.00
Full Self Driving$7,000.00
PowerShare Bundle or Shop Credit$2,500.00
Gear Locker Dividers$45.00
L-Track Hooks$25.00
L-Track Bottle Opener$25.00
D-Rings (2-sets)$80.00
Center Console Tray$40.00
Glass Roof Sunshade$115.00
All Weather Mats$295.00
Lifetime Premium$1,000
Total Accessories$16,875.00
Savings over Foundation$3,125.00

If you ordered the Cyberbeast it's even less factoring in the Lightbar ($1,000-$1,500?) and if you ordered early enough to get the $4,000 Powershare install credit you actually saved money.

Considering I reserved 10 months after reservations opened and would have been way down the list, it's money well spent to me.

I'm a little surprised they stuck with the Core Wheels as the base option, I'd have expected a smaller wheel/tire combo.
Wanted all the stuff, got a Foundation Beast and the $4k install credit.

Install was $4,128, local power company gave us a $500 rebate and we got a $1,000 federal tax credit for the station.

I’m VERY happy with the purchase, definitely came out ahead.

I don’t know anything. But Im glad I could care less about the badging besides the Cyberbeast one. Gonna try and keep this as long as possible and just get another vehicle if I want something else.

I also got 6 months of free supercharging + $1800 voucher and I've road tripped to the factor of ~$4000 worth of free supercharging. So $5800+ accessories and options I wanted turns out to be cheaper than the non FS.
